  • Patent number: 11857689
Abstract: Described are light generating devices employing ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diodes and one or more UV active materials, such as UV reflective materials, UV scattering materials, and UV transparent materials. A UV light generation system, may include a plurality of UV light emitting diodes arranged across a surface having a diffuse UV reflective layer. The UV light generation system may be arranged to enclose a fluid pathway or may be arranged as a liner of a container or vessel for use in disinfecting, purifying, or sterilizing fluid, particles or objects in the fluid pathway, container, or vessel by exposure of the fluid, particles or objects to UV light generated by the UV light emitting diodes.

  • Patent number: 10639022
Abstract: Retraction guidewires are disclosed, including retraction guidewires configured to transition from an elongate configuration for delivery to a treatment site through an organ wall to a deployed configuration for retraction of the organ wall, for example. The deployed configuration includes a stem portion and a dome portion having a distal end and a proximal end, the stem portion extending proximally from the distal end of the dome portion.

  • Publication number: 20110130756
Abstract: A vasculature device with a wire with a shaped set portion, an electrically conductive path, an electrical connector connecting the wire to the electrically conductive path at a point distal to the shaped set portion, and a hypotube encasing the wire, electrically conductive path and electrical connector is provided. The vasculature device can be actuated from a low-profile configuration to a deployed configuration by heating of the wire, and in particular the shaped set portion of the wire, via application of an electrical current to the wire. The vasculature device is useful in removal of clots, thromboemboli and foreign bodies from the vasculature, and in particular the cerebral vasculature, and as steering wires or guidewires.
