    Abstract: A rotary-screw air compressor having a separator, a cooler fan assembly, and a mounting apparatus. The separator has a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber separates compressed air and coolant. The second chamber separates compressed air and moisture. The separator is disposed in a chasm formed by a first platform. The mounting apparatus elevates a motor and air end vertically above and spatially apart from the separator. A cooler fan assembly is vertically above the motor and air end. The cooler fan assembly has a first heat exchanger vertically above a second heat exchanger. A shroud having an opposite open end is connected to the first heat exchanger at one open end and the shroud is connected to the second heat exchanger at the other open end. A cooler fan is disposed completely within the shroud and between the first and second heat exchangers.

    Abstract: An effusion cell (22) including a crucible (28) is configured such that when attached to the MBE apparatus at a predetermined distance from a rotatable substrate holder (24), a longitudinal axis (32) of the crucible is directed toward the substrate holder at an angle to the rotation axis (26) of the substrate holder. The crucible is heatable for melting a material (36) placed therein, the molten material forming a melt surface (38) from which molecules of the material are evaporated. The top of the crucible has an elliptical opening (31), the plane of which is parallel to the substrate holder. The crucible and the opening therein are configured such that a substrate (25) in the substrate holder receives only evaporated molecules which proceed directly thereto from the melt surface, through the opening.

    Abstract: The body structure of a fluid storage apparatus, which may be used for both liquids and gases, is formed from a coaxially and sealingly joined series of one-piece molded polymeric body sections including opposite end sections having closed outer ends. Each one piece molded polymeric body section has tubular inner and outer shell portions that are coaxial with one another and radially separated by a circumferentially spaced series of radially extending ribs molded integrally therewith and defining therebetween a circumferentially extending series of arcuate insulation spaces. In the assembled body structure the inner shell portions entirely define in the apparatus an internal fluid storage vessel portion that is useful in storing both liquids and gases. The interior fluid storage vessel is outwardly enveloped by the insulation spaces and structurally reinforced, via the integral ribs, by the outer shell sections.

In the assembled body structure the inner shell portions entirely define in the water heater an internal water storage vessel portion that is outwardly enveloped by the insulation spaces and structurally reinforced, via the integral ribs, by the outer shell sections.
