  • Patent number: 11645222
Abstract: Various embodiments comprise systems, mechanisms, methods and apparatus configured to regenerate or recreate a stream of substantially continuous serial bus data traffic using stored data packet sequences representing captured energy associated with inverting and non-inverting communication lines of a differential transmission line type of serial bus (e.g., RS-422, MIL STD 1553, and the like).

  • Patent number: 10432730
Abstract: An apparatus for inhibiting data on a bi-directional bus includes a first portion having a first analog port and a digital output. A second portion has a second analog port and a digital input, and the digital output is operably coupled to the first digital input. The digital output of the first portion is configured to produce a digital representation of an analog input signal presented to the first analog port. Likewise, the second analog port of the second portion is configured to produce an analog output representation of a digital signal presented to the digital input. The first and second portion cooperate to inhibit the propagation of data presented to the second analog port as an input.

  • Patent number: 10296477
Abstract: A system having a data bus, bus controller(s), remote terminal(s) and a logger. The data bus has an inverted differential line and a non-inverted differential line. The bus controller(s) are electrically coupled to the data bus. The remote terminal(s) are electrically coupled to the data bus. The logger has a bus transceiver and a controller. The bus transceiver is electrically coupled to the data bus. The controller is electrically coupled to the transceiver. The controller is configured to: capture a non-inverted data stream from the bus transceiver, capture an inverted data stream from the bus transceiver, convert the non-inverted data stream into non-inverted packets having a packet size, convert the inverted data stream into inverted packets having the packet size; and write the non-inverted data packets and inverted data packets to a non-volatile memory.

  • Publication number: 20180285309
Abstract: A system having a bus controller, a remote terminal, and a message filter, with the message filter having a first transceiver, a second transceiver, and a message processor. The first transceiver is electrically coupled to the bus controller by a first data bus. The second transceiver is electrically coupled to the remote terminal by a second data bus. The message processor is configured to: receive a message from the first transceiver, the message comprising a command word, begin transmission of the message by the second transceiver, extract a destination address from the command word, and stop the transmission of the message when the destination address does not match at least one determined destination address.
