An image comment may be indicated by a tag displayed at the location based on the specific portion of the image and having an identifier of the thread. Tags for image comments may be clustered together. When an image having image comments is replaced by a replacement image, the tags from the image may be transferred from the image to the replacement image and displayed at the same relative positions in the replacement image as positioned in the original image.
