  • Publication number: 20160362195
Abstract: A fuel delivery system for transferring fuel using pressurized air includes a vehicle having a fuel tank supported by the vehicle, the fuel tank including a volume of fuel and a volume of pressurized air. A compressor supported on the vehicle and in fluid communication with the fuel tank operates to maintain a pressure of the pressurized air by monitoring a pressure of the air within the tank using a pressure sensor. A fuel transfer hose in fluid communication with the interior of the tank transfers the fuel to an item to be refueled using only a force of the pressurized air acting on the fuel when a tank valve of the tank is in the open position.

  • Patent number: 9449105
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining contexts of information analyzed. Contexts may be determined for words, expressions, and other combinations of words in bodies of knowledge such as encyclopedias. Analysis of use provides a division of the universe of communication or information into domains, and selects words or expressions unique to those domains of subject matter as an aid in classifying information. A vocabulary list is created with a macro-context (context vector) for each, dependent upon the number of occurrences of unique terms from a domain, over each of the domains. This system may be used to find information or classify information by subsequent inputs of text, in calculation of macro-contexts, with ultimate determination of lists of micro-contests including terms closely aligned with the subject matter.

  • Patent number: 8976145
Abstract: Decreasing the cost of a touchpad by avoiding the cost of simultaneously measuring all signals from sense electrodes by using a limited number of measuring circuits to accomplish noise reduction and de-ghosting of signal data to thereby obtain the precise location of multiple fingers on a touchpad, wherein the touchpad separates the drive electrodes into groups to thereby provide a means for obtaining granular location information for de-ghosting the touchpad, and wherein overlapping measurements are made of groups of sense electrodes to obtain data that is separated in time to thereby obtain an averaged signal for each electrode and thereby reduce sensitivity to noise.

  • Publication number: 20130311288
Abstract: A method comprising for determining the value provided to an advertiser through the advertiser's online advertisements. The method may begin with providing an online advertisement linked to content. A macro-context may be obtained that quantifies the affinity of the content for a plurality of domains corresponding to a semantic space. A personalization vector may be obtained that quantifies the affinity of at least one aspect of a user for the plurality of domains. The user may then select the online advertisement. A match value may be calculated that quantifies the similarity between the personalization vector and the macro-context. The advertiser may then be charged a monetary amount for the user's “click.” The monetary amount may be based, at least in part, on the match value.
