Abstract: A computer implemented method for assigning values to objects includes receiving a plurality of values for each of a plurality of base objects including a first and second base object; receiving a plurality of values for a first composite object associated with the first and second base objects; generating and storing in the memory a solution set including combinations of values of the first and second base objects; for each combination in the solution set, generating first transaction results by computing transactions between the values of the first and second base objects; comparing each of the first transaction results to a first range of values including the values of the first composite object; and removing, from the solution set and from the memory, the combinations of the values of the first and second base objects corresponding to the first transaction results that are outside of the first range of values.

Abstract: Embodiments of a carrier tape having an integrated cover tape are disclosed. The carrier tape may comprise a base having a number of spaced-apart pockets. A first cover tape piece and a second cover tape piece may each be secured to the carrier tape base. Opposing inner ends of the first and second cover tape pieces extend toward the center of the carrier tape base and over portions of the pockets, and a gap exists between these opposing inner edges. The gap overlies the pockets, but this gap is sized to retain parts within the pockets when the cover tape pieces are “at rest.” A separator tool may be inserted within this gap and underneath the first and second cover tape pieces, and this separator tool may spread apart the cover tape pieces, allowing parts to be removed from or placed in the carrier tape. According to some embodiments, readable marks are disposed on a carrier tape, and each readable mark is associated with one pocket of the carrier tape. A die placed in a pocket of the carrier tape has a corresponding wafer location, and this wafer location is correlated with the mark associated with that pocket. Abstract: A system is disclosed for processing vehicle powertrain torsional information resulting from vibration of the vehicle powertrain. A speed sensor produces a speed signal indicative of rotational speed of one of the powertrain components, and a control computer is operable to determine a magnitude of an Nth-order torsional component of vehicle powertrain vibration as a function of the speed signal. The control computer is further operable to execute either of a diagnostic routine relating to the Nth-order torsional component and a control routine controlling operation of the vehicle powertrain away from conditions at which the magnitude of the Nth-order torsional component exceeds a threshold magnitude if the magnitude of the Nth-order torsional component exceeds the threshold magnitude for at least a first predefined duration.

The system includes a control circuit and a number of sensors electrically coupled to the control circuit. The control circuit is configured to update a group of matrix cells of a data matrix in response to receiving sensory data from the number of sensors and determine the model parameters based on the updated data matrix.
