  • Publication number: 20240368879
Abstract: The invention describes a novel roofing and siding bracket that replaces traditional battens and tile hangers. The bracket can be used for installation of a variety of shingles, tiles, slates, or panels for siding or roofing. The bracket is comprised of a fastener area, a riser lip, and a headlap area. The riser lip joins the fastener area and headlap area at preformed opposite angles, however these angles are independently adjustable so that the fastener area can match the substrate slope and the headlap area can accommodate a wide range of roof materials having either uniform or variable thicknesses. The riser lip allows for rapid and uniform installation of roof materials such as tiles, shingles, slates, or panels.

  • Patent number: 10947730
Abstract: The invention describes a novel roofing trim saddle system and method of installing for use in roofing and siding applications where a roofing hip or ridge must be covered (finished). The various implementations herein describe the system as having a multitude of saddle brackets, each with a multitude of tabs that retain the roofing material (such as tiles, shingles, panels, slates, etc.). The saddle brackets attach to the roof via a fastener such as nails or screws that engage holes formed by slot tabs in the saddle bracket body. The slot tabs are used to correctly space and align the saddle bracket during installation. The system is strong, secure, adaptable, adjustable, customizable, thin, light-weight, self aligning, weather-proof, can be readily designed to accommodate many different roofing styles and materials on site, or can be manufactured to the needs of any particular roofing and siding application.

  • Patent number: 9926704
Abstract: The invention is a roof system having panels attached by battens and adjustable hangers. The hangers have a leg, a tail and a hook. The hanger is supported by a batten strip material, typically made of metal with slots. These hangers are permanently secured within the battens and are non removable once the batten is fastened to a roof deck. The hangers themselves are adjustable to different lengths by sliding them within the slot with a predetermined amount of force to accommodate staggered panel edges. This dramatically reduces the labor and costs required to install roofing panels.
