  • Publication number: 20230360045
Abstract: Disclosed is a distributed blockchain system and method for blockchain transactions for users for a virtual environment. The virtual environment has at least one or more of virtual space, time, virtual objects, and avatars, inclusive of a game environment, wherein users execute moves, the moves allowing users to earn from outcomes of moves at least one or more of tokens, skills, and tools, the tools being an element of the virtual objects and the skills being an element of the avatars. A validator is designed to validate moves and move outcomes. A transaction aggregator is designed to accumulate related layer-one transactions in the blockchain. The accumulated related transactions are viewable on one or more user interfaces wherein at least one or more of moves, outcomes of moves, associated non-interchangeable units of data, the tokens, the tools, the virtual transaction space, the time, the virtual transaction objects, and the avatars.

  • Patent number: 9763173
Abstract: Approaches are described for configuring a wireless network device, such as an access point, with appropriate configurations such that the device is operable in one or more country and/or regulatory domains. At least some embodiments enable the configuration process to operate in an automatic configuration mode, wherein at least one of a plurality of access points can be configured to automatically obtain and apply regulatory domain and country configurations to operate in a particular regulatory domain. Other approaches provide for configuring an access point based on a manual configuration approach, wherein a portable computing device can be used to configured the access point to operate in a particular regulatory domain.

  • Patent number: 9225819
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for facilitating sending of DTMF (dual-tone multi-frequency) signals to a destination after connecting to a system by placing a phone call. An entry associated with an application running on a mobile computing device is automatically scanned to detect a telephone number and any string of characters associated with the telephone number. The mobile computing device presents one or more candidate strings of characters that are associated with the telephone number. A user may select the strings of characters to send the DTMF signals after connecting to a destination telephone system. By automatically extracting and displaying the string of characters associated with the telephone number, the user's manual operation associated with accomplishing a task on a remote telephone system is minimized.

  • Publication number: 20070096547
Abstract: A method is provided for sizing a brake system for an automobile using a processor. The method comprises gathering characteristics of the automobile and then calculating a maximum rotor size based the characteristics. Next, a specific torque required to skid the automobile at a selected deceleration is calculated for the brake system at driver only weight, and then a final brake caliper is selected based on the specific torque requirement and maximum brake rotor size. Finally, the selected rotor and brake caliper is evaluated to determine if thermal dissipation requirements for city driving conditions are met.
