  • Publication number: 20240101302
Abstract: Box blanks, boxes, and corresponding methods of forming the same are provided herein. The box blank comprises a plurality of panels and flaps. Each of the plurality of panels are connected along a foldable panel score line portion, and each of the plurality of flaps are connected along a foldable flap score line portion. The plurality of flaps are connected to the plurality of panels. The box blank further comprises a first cross-cut and a second cross-cut spaced apart from the first cross-cut to define an uncut portion therebetween. Each cross-cut extends across the flap score line portion. The box blank further comprises a first cut extending from the first cross-cut at least a portion of a distance to the plurality of panels, and a second cut extending from the second cross-cut at least a portion of a second distance leading towards an edge of the plurality of flaps.

  • Publication number: 20220058328
Abstract: Embodiments provide for improved placement bounds. An example method includes identifying, based on a first synthesizing of an integrated circuit layout representation, a plurality of integrated circuit endpoints. The example method further includes identifying, based on a plurality of feature vectors each representing an endpoint of the plurality of integrated circuit endpoints, a plurality of integrated circuit clusters. Each integrated circuit cluster comprises a unique subset of integrated circuit endpoints of the plurality of integrated circuit endpoints. The example method further includes applying, using a processor and based on a subsequent synthesizing of the integrated circuit layout representation, placement bounds to the integrated circuit layout representation. The placement bounds are applied based on the plurality of integrated circuit clusters.

  • Patent number: 8881463
Abstract: A weather strip seal is provided for sealing between first and second structures, and a method for manufacturing such a strip seal. The weather strip seal includes a main leg made of a polymeric material, having one side and another side and terminating in first and second ends, a first sealing portion designed to press against the first structure and extending on the one side of the leg adjacent the first end, and a metal carrier for retaining the shape of the strip seal which has an asymmetrical substantially U-shaped cross-section having a first branch reinforcing a portion of the main leg and a second branch extending from the second end on the another side and terminating in a second sealing portion designed to sealingly press against the second structure. An ionomer tie layer is located between the metal surface and the at least one polymeric material.

  • Patent number: 6189198
Abstract: A process for creating a seal having a first linear portion and a second curved portion joined thereto is provided. The process includes providing a retaining section including a threaded metal wire with warp fiber disposed therein, forming the carrier section into a predetermined cross-sectional shape using forming rolls, extruding a polymeric material around the carrier section and generating a contacting member onto said carrier section to form a seal, heating the seal within an oven to cure the polymeric material and to break down the warp fiber so that the seal is readily bendable, and heating then cooling the second portion of the seal in a forming device for predetermined times at predetermined temperatures to cause the second portion of the seal to be formed in a curved manner.
