  • Publication number: 20260137065
Abstract: An ephemeral substrate material for growing oysters that is composed of a biodegradable woven cloth, woven fabric, or woven netting and a binder comprising a mineral-based hardening agent, along with artificial oyster growing structures prepared from the ephemeral substrate material and methods of using the same to cultivate oysters, control shoreline erosion and develop a saltmarsh habitat.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 21, 2025
    Publication date: May 21, 2026
    Inventors: Niels Lindquist, David Cessna
  • Publication number: 20260013479
Abstract: Provided is novel ephemeral substrate material for growing oysters that alleviates concerns related to adding large quantities of permanent fill to estuarine water and promotes high rates of oyster survival and growth, high meat quality and market-favorable shell-shape of cultured oysters, along with artificial oyster growing structures prepared from the ephemeral substrate material and methods of using the same.

  • Publication number: 20110317952
Abstract: A tandem roller bearing having circumferential inner and outer races each having first and second contact surfaces with convex profiles is provided. Rolling elements are arranged between the inner and outer races, each of the rolling elements having a concave profile corresponding to the convex profiles of a respective pairing of the first contact surfaces of the inner and outer races or of the second contact surfaces of the inner and outer races. A cage is arranged between the inner and outer races that separates and is guided by the rolling elements. The rolling elements include first and second sets of rolling elements having first and second axes of rotation that are arranged between the first and second contact surfaces of the inner and outer races, respectively. The first and second axes of rotation are inclined in a same direction with respect to a central axis of the inner race.
