Patent number: 12614291Abstract: A method of coregistering images is disclosed. Two dimensional images are first preprocessed, including clipping values in each image to a specified standard value range, and then applying a local equalization technique to the clipped images. Feature extraction is then performed to identify one or more features in the images. One or more of the extracted features are then matched between images to determine a degree of overlap between the images and a relationship between image coordinates of the images. The images are then transformed to a common coordinate system based on the degree of overlap and the relationship between their image coordinates. The images are then combined to form a single image.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2023Date of Patent: April 28, 2026Assignees: Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC, Teres Technologies, Inc.Inventors: David Chambers, Jeffrey Edward Mast

Publication number: 20250278329Abstract: Techniques are provided for proactive analysis of a computer environment to prevent a disruption in services. Specifically, a risk score may be generated for each of a plurality of different alerts. If the risk score generated for a particular alert meets a predefined criterion, the alert may be amplified to determine a remediation for the computer environment. Specifically, an alert with a risk score that meets a predefined criterion may be amplified to determine one or more remediations that can be implemented to proactively prevent a future and potential disruption in services in a computer environment. For example, a service process that has a greatest utilization at a particular storage resource, e.g., storage array, may be identified. One or more query scripts may then be executed within the database using the particular storage resource to identify a remediation that can be implemented to prevent a potential future disruption in services.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 4, 2024Publication date: September 4, 2025Inventors: David Chambers, Sivakumar Bojan, Saravanan Baskaran, Gregory O'Hearn, Surjith Kulangaroth, Nagendar Pagidimarri, Mahesh Kumar Padhmanabhan

Publication number: 20250013237Abstract: A system for autonomously determining optimal paths without collision through a travel volume for a swarm of vehicles is disclosed. The system determines a travel path for the swarm leader vehicle using a minimal cost path derived from various measures of environmental cost for avoiding objects in traveling from leader location to target location. The system also determines, for each empty neighbor location of each follower vehicle, relational costs for follower vehicle travel relative to leader vehicle travel. The various measures of relational cost seek to maintain a prescribed positional relationship between each follower vehicle and the leader vehicle given the leader vehicle travel path. Based on various measures of environmental and relational cost, the system determines the best travel path for the each follower vehicle relative to the leader vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 17, 2024Publication date: January 9, 2025Inventors: David W. Paglieroni, N. Reginald Beer, David Chambers

Patent number: 12114604Abstract: A lawn raking assembly for mounting a rake to a lawn tractor includes a rake mount that has a pair of pivot points which each pivotally engages a front end of a lawn tractor having the rake mount extending forwardly from the front end of the lawn tractor. A rake is removably attached to the rake mount for raking the lawn in front of the lawn tractor when the lawn tractor is driven. The rake has a pair of raking elements that each extends outwardly beyond a full transverse width of the lawn tractor. A linkage is coupled to the rake mount and a handle is pivotally coupled to the lawn tractor. The handle pivotally engages the linkage for urging the rake between a lifted position and a lowered position.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2021Date of Patent: October 15, 2024Inventor: David Chambers

Patent number: 11573575Abstract: A system for determining a travel direction that avoids objects when a vehicle travels from a current location to a target location is provided. The system determines a travel direction based on an attract-repel model. The system assigns a repel value to the object locations and an attract value. A repel represents a magnitude of a directional repulsive force, and the attract value represents the magnitude of a directional repulsive force. The system calculates an attract-repel field having an attract-repel magnitude and attract-repel direction for the current location based on the repel values and their directions and the attract value and its direction. The system then determines the travel direction for a vehicle to be the direction of the attract-repel field at the current location.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 2017Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLCInventors: David W. Patent number: 10935635Abstract: A configuration system for identifying a target configuration of agents for acquiring data is provided. In some embodiments, the configuration system generates sample configurations, each of which has a location within the space for each agent. The configuration system selects as the target configuration a sample configuration that is suitable to acquire data. The configuration system selects the target configuration by, for at least one or more sample configurations, directing that the agents assume the sample configuration and then acquire data when in the sample configuration. The configuration system then stores, for each sample configuration, an indication of suitability for acquiring data based on the sample configuration. The configuration system selects a sample configuration that is deemed to be suitable as the target configuration.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2019Date of Patent: March 2, 2021Assignee: Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLCInventors: N. Patent number: 10550595Abstract: A method of modular pole construction an elongate modular pole structure is disclosed. A first step of the method involves providing hollow tapered pole section modules, each module having a first open end and an opposed second open end. A cross-section of the second end is less than a cross-section of the first end. The modules are stacked to form an elongated modular pole structure of a selected length by mating the second end of a first module with the first end of a second module. The first and second modules may have different structural properties, such that poles having desired structural properties can be constructed by selectively combining modules having differing structural properties.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2018Date of Patent: February 4, 2020Assignee: RS Technologies Inc.Inventors: Phil Lockwood, David Chambers
