  • Patent number: 12121408
Abstract: A load balancing arm for a medical device support system includes a proximal hub, a support arm, a link, and a distal end vertical block. The components together may form a four bar linkage. The proximal hub is configured for pivotable movement about an axis P-P. The distal hub is configured to support a medical device load for pivotable movement about an axis D-D. The distal hub is mounted to the distal end vertical block for pivotable movement between a first position in which the axis D-D is at a first angle relative to the axis P-P and a second position in which the axis D-D is at a second angle relative to the axis P-P, wherein the first angle is different than the second angle. A parallelism adjustment mechanism enables the axis D-D to be adjusted so as to be substantially parallel to the axis P-P.

  • Publication number: 20240268721
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for measuring an analyte in a biological system. A system may include a medical device with an electrochemical sensor configured to sense the concentration of a plurality of analytes present in a biological system. Processing circuitry of the system may retrieve, identify, and process a respective signal from a respective work electrode to determine the concentration of a respective analyte. The system may further include an implantable medical device configured to sense a cardiac electrogram (EGM). In some examples, the system may be configured to determine one or more patient-specific relationships between the respective signals of the electrochemical sensor and the cardiac EGM during a first period of time. Based on the patient-specific relationships, the system may estimate concentrations of the one or more analytes corresponding to the respective signals based on the cardiac EGM of the patient collected over a second period of time.

  • Patent number: 11868493
Abstract: Working from home is becoming more and more commonplace. Ensuring that remote workers are following prescribed data protection measures becomes more important, and challenging. Safe and Secure Remote Working Environment (SSRWE) monitors an environment and determines if a non-compliant element is present. For example, a condition of working from home may be that no notetaking or electronic devices, especially ones comprising a camera, be visible to a system camera capturing the field of view in front of a display. If a non-compliant situation is discovered, the display may be redacted and/or other action taken to protect sensitive information.

  • Patent number: 11832149
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a communication system and method, among other things. As a non-limiting example, the method includes receiving a call from a caller, parking the call, and while the call is parked, determining a paging target for the call. The method may further include paging a first target area in an attempt to summon the paging target to retrieve the parked call. The method may further include paging a second target area in an attempt to summon the paging target to retrieve the parked call, receiving a response from the paging target, and based on the response received from the paging target, connecting the paging target with the caller.

  • Publication number: 20230353677
Abstract: Customer interactions with a remote contact center can be disjointed and confusing, especially when a customer is transferred from agent to agent. By maintaining a persona of the agent first encountered by a customer while the interaction transitions to other agents (artificial and/or live), the customer interaction may progress more naturally and without the customer being distracted by the transfer to a new agent. By configuring artificial agents with the first persona or deploying a server to perform persona-alterations of a live agent, the customer may never be aware that they have been transferred away from the first agent they encounter and the customer interaction proceeds efficiently and effectively.

  • Publication number: 20230353676
Abstract: Customers of a contact center are subject to a high level of processing in order to best match the customer’s needs with an agent qualified to address those needs. However, such processing is often unwarranted, such as when the customer wishes to speak with their personal agent. When a customer is willing to forgo quickly being connected to the next available agent in favor of waiting to be connected with their designated personal agent, even if such a connection occurs at a later time, demands on processing and network resources is decreased. The customer, such as in a second communication, is connected with their personal agent to address the customer’s needs.

  • Patent number: 11785140
Abstract: Users of a networked communication device may omit updating their availability state, and that of an associated communication device, if the state change is sudden or believed to be of sufficiently short duration. By quickly changing their state, a routing component may more accurately know whether or not a communication routed to the communication device will or will not be answered. By utilizing a camera and gesture processing logic, a user may naturally and quickly update their state without the need to navigate menus or select options with manual, tactile interactions with the communication device.

  • Patent number: 11734697
Abstract: Devices are often connected to a network to facilitate remote interactions with the device. However, such connections may be absent or disabled. However, by utilizing a second device, such as a mobile phone, a transaction may be initiated on a remote device and handed-off to the second device to obtain absent information and complete the transaction. Completion of the transaction may be due to absent data, such as a data that provides absent information or resolves conflicting information in the dataset. The device may communicate with the second device via radio frequency communications and/or other forms of communication (e.g., visually, audibly, etc.), such that information the absent information is obtained and the instructions executed to complete the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20230179701
Abstract: Methods and systems provided herein ensure that communication sessions such as phone calls over PSTNs can be reconstructed in the event that the session ends unintentionally. Methods and systems include detecting a call ended, analyzing data associated with the call, determining, based on the data, the call ended unintentionally, and reconstructing the call based on the determination the call ended unintentionally.

  • Patent number: 11645809
Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing methods for user selection of a virtual object in a virtual scene. A user input may be received via a user input device. The user input may be an attempt to select a virtual object from a plurality of virtual objects rendered in a virtual scene on a display of a display system. A position and orientation of the user input device may be determined in response to the first user input. A probability the user input may select each virtual object may be calculated via a probability model. Based on the position and orientation of the user input device, a ray-cast procedure and a sphere-cast procedure may be performed to determine the virtual object being selected. The probability of selection may also be considered in determining the virtual object. A virtual beam may be rendered from the user input device to the virtual object.

  • Patent number: 11570223
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software to provide intelligent detection and automatic correction of erroneous audio settings in a video conference. Electronic conferences can often be the source of frustration and wasted resources as participants may be forced to contend with extraneous sounds, such as background/ambient noises, or conversations not intended for the conference, provided by an endpoint that should be muted. Similarly, participants may speak with the intention of providing their speech to the conference while their associated endpoint is muted. As a result, the conference may be awkward and lack a productive flow while endpoints are erroneously muted or non-muted. By intelligently processing at least the video portion of a video conference, endpoints/participants may be prompted to mute/unmute or automatically muted/unmuted.
