The invention includes an actuator switch, located in the handle of the extension, which is wired to be in communication with a digital camera integrated device. The actuator switch operates the exposure function of the camera at the distance beyond the reach of the user via a wired digital connection to the device. The invention also includes a lockable two part ball joint that enables articulation of the camera into various positions.
