Patent number: 11039049Abstract: A hub and a camera mount configured to support a video camera. The camera mount and hub are detachably mountable with respect to each other in any of at least two different configurations, preferably with adjustability in at least one configuration. In some embodiments, the camera mount includes a first structure including a retainer and camera support, a slide translatably mounted to the first structure, and a foot having a first end pivotably attached to the slide. The retainer is shaped to engage a surface of an object to which the camera mount is to be mounted. Other aspects are a camera mount, and a camera mount alone. Optionally, in one configuration the hub is mountable to a wall or other surface.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2019Date of Patent: June 15, 2021Assignee: Dolby Laboratories Licensing CorporationInventors: Peter Michaelian, Christine Anna Livaudais, David Clementson, Carl Stephen Dizon Tubis, Timothy David Burkhard

Patent number: 10178211Abstract: An apparatus may include an inner module, an outer module that substantially surrounds a perimeter of the inner module, a plurality of light emitters, and a light distribution medium. The plurality of light emitters may be positioned under the inner module and project light radially outward. The light distribution medium may transport the light projected from the plurality of light emitters to an edge of the light distribution medium. The edge may include a diffusive surface and traverse a substantial portion of a boundary between the inner module and the outer module.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2014Date of Patent: January 8, 2019Assignee: Dolby Laboratories Licensing CorporationInventors: David Clementson, David S. Patent number: 9628887Abstract: A telecommunications device (1) comprises a base part (2), a cap part (4), a body part (3), a control panel (5), an upper light ring (9), a lower light ring (8), a plurality of sound microphones and a plurality of sound speakers. The cap part (4) is concave in shape. The body part (3) is frusto-conical in shape and tapers outwardly away from the cap part (4) towards the base part (2). The body part (3) and the cap part (4) cover the sound microphones and the sound speakers. The control panel (5) is inclined relative to the plane of the support surface (6) and relative to the plane of the base part (2). The control panel (5) protrudes upwardly from the upper edge of the body part (3) over the concave cap part (4), and the control panel (5) protrudes downwardly from the lower edge of the body part (3). The control panel (5) controls operation of the sound microphones and the sound speakers. The upper light ring (9) is located between the cap part (4) and the body part (3).Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2013Date of Patent: April 18, 2017Assignee: Dolby Laboratories Licensing CorporationInventors: Thao D. Patent number: 6000665Abstract: A support device and method for use of a support device with a miniature electronic device are provided by the present invention. Use of the miniature electronic device is facilitated by the present invention's anchoring the miniature electronic device and ergonomically supporting the operator's hand such relative to the miniature electronic device. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the support device includes a base member having a receiving member adapted to securably receive a miniature electronic device formed in an upper surface of the base member. The base member is preferably formed of an elastomeric material. The upper surface of the base member is dimensioned to support the hand of an operator of the miniature electronic device, such that the level of the operator's hand is substantially coplanar with the level of the top surface of the miniature electronic device. The receiving member can be positioned to accommodate right or left-handed operators.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 1998Date of Patent: December 14, 1999Inventors: David Clementson, Steven R. Green
