Abstract: A concrete vibrator motor includes a motor assembly that provides actuation and a cage assembly that surrounds the motor assembly to shield it and provide one or more operator handles. The motor assembly includes a motor housing, a motor pod, and a plurality of brushes that are used to secure the motor pod within the motor housing. The cage assembly includes a pair of endcaps and handles arranged beneath the endcaps. The endcaps are configured to inhibit fluid ingression into the motor housing while permitting air circulation between the ambient environment outside of the motor housing and within the motor housing. Thus, the motor assembly may intake air into the motor housing and exhaust air therefrom without contamination from the ambient environment.

Abstract: A concrete vibrator system includes a concrete vibrator having a motor, a vibratory head that is actuated by the motor, and a controller that controls the motor. The concrete vibrator system may also include one or more remote devices or servers that wirelessly communicate with the controller of the concrete vibrator. The remote device may monitor the speed output by the motor and the voltage supplied to the motor to achieve a set speed via the controller, and display information representative of the motor speed and motor voltage to the user. Moreover, the speed output by the motor may be controlled using voltage supplied to the motor.

Abstract: A button assembly comprising a panel having a hole and a button configured to extend through the hole. The assembly further includes an integral switch pad and gasket member, with the switch pad having a base and a flexible dome including a contact extending from the base. The gasket member is integrally connected to the switch pad at a transition line and includes an opening. The button is configured to be placed through the hole in the panel and the gasket member is configured to be repositioned relative to the switch pad along the transition line such that the opening in the gasket member is aligned with the hole in the panel and the button engages the gasket member. The flexible dome of the switch pad is configured to be aligned with the hole in the panel such that depression of the button collapses the dome of the switch pad.

Abstract: A player for a media unit. The player includes a front plate formed of metal and having an opening configured to receive a media unit. The player also includes a cover mounted over the opening and having a slit. The slit is aligned with the opening and configured to allow the media unit to pass through the cover and enter the opening. The cover includes an electrical conductor that contacts the front plate and is in electrostatic communication with the slit. The conductor conducts electrostatic charge from the media unit to the front plate as the media unit passes through the slit. The media unit may be a CD, DVD, memory stick, minidisc or the like.
