  • Patent number: 11931074
Abstract: An embodiment of a uterine hemorrhage controlling system comprises a suction module including a suction end coupleable to a pump by a connecting tube, and a sealing module coupled to the suction module. The system may further comprise the pump and a filter coupled to the suction module. A uterine hemorrhage controlling method comprises: shielding a suction module that has been delivered into a uterus; sealing an entrance into the uterus while the suction module is situated within the uterus; applying a negative pressure within the uterus upon activation of a pump; and maintaining the negative pressure within the uterus to induce uterine contraction. The method may further comprise delivering the suction module into the uterus; transmitting bodily fluids, out of the uterus through the suction module, and filtering the bodily fluids.

  • Publication number: 20240087013
Abstract: In an example implementation, a method includes receiving, at a computing device, borrower information and requested financing plan information. Likewise, a method includes outputting at least a portion of the received information to a second computing device and, after receiving an indication of a decision denying the requested financing plan, outputting at least a portion of the received information to a computing device associated with a lender and confirming, to a computing device associated with a borrower or a merchant that the information has been sent to the lender.

  • Patent number: 9563984
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage medium, for integrating components into objects that are to be 3D printed. One of the methods includes obtaining a three-dimensional model of a first object; receiving an input identifying an additional component; generating a digital representation of the additional component; integrating the digital representation of the additional component with the three-dimensional model; and providing the three-dimensional model with the integrated digital representation to a 3D printer for fabrication.

  • Publication number: 20070063107
Abstract: A reusable module is affixed atop a reusable orbital vehicle (OV). Various configurations of the reusable module have identical external dimensions in the region of attachment to the OV to permit interchangeability. Different configurations can accommodate a variety of missions of different type and duration. A variety of cargo modules of different configurations allow cargo to be uplifted into orbit. In one embodiment, the cargo module is an unpressurized cargo module in which the cargo is exposed to the environment of space during the unloading process. The cargo module may also be a pressurized cargo module. In an alternative embodiment, the cargo module may include both a pressurized cargo module and unpressurized cargo module.

  • Publication number: 20060259166
Abstract: A micro remote data relay receives sensor data from disparate sensors and determines locally whether an alarm condition has occurred. A state machine manages device configuration, memory allocation and usage, algorithm processing of sensor data, and communications. Alarm condition algorithms use data from single sensor or multiple sensors to determine whether an alarm condition has occurred. Sensor data is stored locally. A subset of sensor data and alarm condition reporting is sent to a remote data relay command post allowing monitoring of a perimeter while minimizing data transmission and network usage.

  • Publication number: 20050273720
Abstract: The invention provides for a graphical user interface which provides for very simple and intuitive ways of changing single or multiple inspection parameters. The graphical display immediately shows what the monitoring or inspection result would have been if the effected change had been in place during the inspection of the last “N” parts. This retrospective graphical “look-back” invokes immediate re-inspection facilitating an estimation of what the future inspection or process monitoring results will be if future production looks similar to the recent past production. The re-inspection results are immediately shown with a combination of visualization for ease of understanding and settings optimization. The visualization also shows selected other associated data to each specific inspection for ease of tracking and optimizing production processes.

  • Patent number: 5197491
Abstract: An esophageal-stomach displacement electrode comprises a flexible tubular member designed to be inserted through the esophagus into the stomach. An electrode is carried by the tube in the region of its distal end. The tube is hinged near the distal end which enables that end of the tube to displace angularly in the stomach and displace the stomach wall. The stomach wall displacement may occur by angularly displacing the distal end or by otherwise pulling the tube partially out of the esophagus after its distal end partially displaced toward the stomach wall. A displacement mechanism is disposed in the tube in the region of the hinge and is controlled from a point externally of the body for causing the distal end of the tube to displace angularly, and to be positioned to engage and displace the stomach.
