  • Patent number: 11915329
Abstract: An online agricultural system manages and optimizes interactions of entities within the system to enable the execution of transaction and the transportation of crop products. The online agricultural system accesses historic and environmental data describing factors that may impact crop product transactions and/or transportation to determine market prices for crop products and crop product transportation. Responsive to receiving a request from an entity, the online agricultural system determines an optimal transaction for the entity, such as a price for selling a crop product, an available crop product for purchase, or a transportation opportunity to transport a crop product.

  • Patent number: 11142264
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for reducing the amount of drag experiences by a moving vehicle as the result of primary airflow across vehicle body edges by introducing a secondary airflow at said edge to reduce the negative pressure created by such an edge such that the turbulence caused by the primary airflow is prevented or reduced.

  • Publication number: 20150046437
Abstract: The present invention relates to a search method. The method includes the steps of receiving a search query and generating results based upon the received search query. The generated results are classified using classification criteria to form respective result groups. The result groups are displayed, preferably concurrently.

  • Publication number: 20060232661
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for correcting scan position errors in an imaging system. In one embodiment of the present invention, the method includes determining an image beam velocity error as a function of a position within a scan line of an image, and using the image beam velocity error to determine a plurality of pixel clock frequencies to be respectively applied to a plurality of positions within the scan line.

  • Publication number: 20060025396
Abstract: Selective MMP-13 inhibitors are isophthalic acid derivatives of the formula wherein: R1, R2, and R3 independently are hydrogen, halo, hydroxy, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, C2-C6 alkenyl, C2-C6 alkynyl, NO2, NR4R5, CN, or CF3; E is independently O or S; A and B independently are OR4 or NR4R5; each R4 and R5 independently are H, C1-C6 alkyl, C2-C6 alkenyl, C2-C6 alkynyl, (CH2)n aryl, (CH2)n cycloalkyl, (CH2)n heteroaryl, or R4 and R5 when taken together with the nitrogen to which they are attached complete a 3- to 8-membered ring, optionally containing a heteroatom selected from O, S, or NH, and optionally substituted or unsubstituted; n is 0 to 6; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The compounds are useful for treating diseases in a mammal that are mediated by MMP enzymes.

  • Patent number: 6859921
Abstract: A hierarchy of software components is created based on the programming constructs therein using a computer linked to a database having a collection of legacy software therein. Key component characteristics, e.g., programming constructs are defined. These constructs are assigned weights based on the difficulty or ease with which they can be reused in a new software component for use with a Web system or other network system. The legacy collection is searched to determine which, if any, of the key constructs are included therein. An ordered list is output that includes a list of the components containing the key constructs. The order of the list is based on the weight of the constructs in each component and the frequency with which they occur in each component. The list is then used to determine the effort and thus, the expense required to move entire components or blocks of code in the components into a Web system or other network system.

  • Patent number: 5544737
Abstract: An easily transportable self-powered conveyor device, for use e.g. in transporting pieces of wood over rough terrain, has a drive chain and driven disc installed on a chainsaw in place of a saw chain and bar, the drive chain being in driving engagement with the driven disc. A sheave is connected to an output of a reduction gearing for rotation thereby and a rope extends around the sheave, with securing devices attached to the rope and spaced apart along the rope for temporarily securing objects to the rope for conveyance thereby as the rope is pulled by the sheave. A retaining device anchors the sheave to any suitable support, e.g. a tree.

  • Patent number: 4014806
Abstract: Novel organic polyphosphate mixtures are made by a process comprising a mixture of a plurality of polyphosphate salts of one or more primary, secondary or tertiary amines; which mixture has been obtained by a process comprising (1) forming an aqueous polyphosphoric acid solution comprising from 80 to 88% by weight of phosphorus penitoxide; (2) reacting said polyphosphoric acid solution with a primary, secondary or tertiary amine at a pH of from 4 to 12 and at a temperature of from 15 to 70.degree. C.Such mixtures are useful as builders in liquid cleaning compositions comprising surface active agents or alkali metal hydroxides or silicates with which they are more compatible in aqueous solution then are previously used polyphosphate builder materials.
