Abstract: An adjustable heel assembly for a water ski binder in which the component parts of the heel assembly are united in functional relationship relative to one another without the aid of additional mechanical fasteners. An elastomeric heel member is cooperatively interlocked to a base member which is slidably and adjustably disposed between a pair of side rails. The base member is adjustably connected to the side rails by a selectively operated lock mechanism carried by the base member. The heel assembly and the side rails are spaced from the ski so as to allow fluid to flow between the components of the heel assembly and the surface of the ski and thereby prevent the buildup of debris therein.
