The rake has a handle and a rake head is attached to the rake handle. The rake head presents a plurality of tines that extend from the rake head and are used to smooth disturbed ground. A spike is carried by the rake head and is used to position the rake near a sand trap in a generally vertical storage position so as to minimize interference with golf play.
