    Abstract: A method of immunizing a subject. The method includes administering to the subject an immunogenic amount of a filament including one or more hybrid flagellin proteins, each hybrid protein including a heterologous polypeptide antigen and a portion of a FliC flagellin protein. As a result of the administration, a TI immune response to the polypeptide antigen can be produced in the subject.
