  • Patent number: 11993282
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for calibrating and aligning automotive sensors, such as advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) sensors. Embodiments include a system having an image sensor mounted on a fixture in a known pose relative to the fixture. The image sensor is for viewing a target disposed on a vehicle and having a known pose relative to the vehicle, and for capturing image data of the target. A data processor is provided for performing the steps of calculating, using the image data, a pose of the target; calculating a pose of the image sensor relative to the vehicle using the calculated pose of the target; and generating instructions for positioning the fixture at a predetermined pose relative to the vehicle using the calculated pose of the image sensor relative to the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240170109
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for assessing a mental state of a subject in a single session or over multiple different sessions, using for example an automated module to present and/or formulate at least one query based in part on one or more target mental states to be assessed. The query may be configured to elicit at least one response from the subject. The query may be transmitted in an audio, visual, and/or textual format to the subject to elicit the response. Data comprising the response from the subject can be received. The data can be processed using one or more individual, joint, or fused models. One or more assessments of the mental state associated with the subject can be generated for the single session, for each of the multiple different sessions, or upon completion of one or more sessions of the multiple different sessions.

  • Publication number: 20240094120
Abstract: This invention relates to the preparation of N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine (“glyphosate”) from N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid (“PMIDA”), and more particularly to methods for control of the conversion of PMIDA, for the identification of reaction end points relating to PMIDA conversion and the preparation of glyphosate products having controlled PMIDA content.

  • Publication number: 20150083126
Abstract: A breathing circuit humidification system (200) is described that includes a humidification system (102) and a patient breathing circuit (201). The humidification system includes at least a moisture water source (209), a flash evaporator (211) and a moisture exchanger. Water is selectively introduced from the water source to the flash evaporator. The flash evaporator includes a heating element that evaporates the received water to form water vapor. The water vapor is sent to the moisture exchanger. The moisture exchanger receives gas from a gas source. The received gas is humidified with the water vapor received from the flash evaporator. The moisture exchanger sends the humidified gas to the patient breathing circuit. The patient breathing circuit provides, in a controlled manner, the humidified gas to a patient (106). Related methods, apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 8384344
Abstract: A charging system and method for the batteries of a vehicle. A charging station is mounted in a fixed position where the vehicle is parked. A support extends upwardly. The support is selectively movable between a fully elevated position and a lower position. The support is biased into its fully elevated position. Two electrical contacts are mounted to the support. The electrical contacts are connected to wires that lead to an external power source. Two receiving contacts are mounted to the vehicle. The receiving contacts are positioned to automatically make direct electrical contact with the power supply contacts of the charging station as the vehicle is parked at the fixed position of the charging station.

  • Patent number: 7806755
Abstract: A portable game hoist supports game in the field without requiring attachment to a tree, vehicle or other separate structure. The hoist includes free-standing legs in pairs at opposite ends of a crossbeam. The crossbeam has a pulley mounted thereto, preferably upon a bracket with a hook on the bracket and below the pulley. A hanger is provided to which a game animal is attached. A cable is routed over the pulley and also over an end pulley adjacent one of the ends of the crossbeam. The cable is then routed down to a winch so that when the hanger is coupled to the cable, the hanger and game can be elevated. Once fully elevated, the hanger can be shifted to the hook adjacent the pulley and the cable removed for reuse on a second game animal, routing of the cable over a separate pulley suspended below the crossbeam.
