  • Patent number: 12271462
Abstract: A remote signal-based method and system of performing an authentication of images of a person in order to permit access to a secured resource. The system and method are configured to cause a visual and/or haptic pattern response to occur in a secondary device while collecting image data from a different, primary device. The image data is evaluated to determine whether the appropriate pattern is present. If the pattern is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person, and can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

  • Patent number: 12259957
Abstract: A remote audio signal-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource. An audio security token with a first set of features is generated and stored for each user. During subsequent sessions, the system and method are configured to cause a remote computing device to play a specific audio signal while collecting audio data from a microphone of the same device. The audio data is evaluated to determine if the same features are present as in the first set of features. If the features are present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person, and can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

  • Patent number: 12206651
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a system includes a first controller configured to generate a network key and transform the network key and a second controller configured to obtain the transformed network key and form a network with the first controller, each of the first controller and the second controller being configured to generate a same symmetric key using the network key and values from the other of the first controller and second controller.

  • Patent number: 5869745
Abstract: An inflator for an airbag system has a target mounted in the pressurized gas contained in the inflator. An ultrasonic transducer is mounted on an external surface of the inflator in alignment with the target. The transducer generates and receives reflected ultrasonic signals from the target. The time-of-flight of the signals which are dependent on the gas pressure are used to determine the gas pressure in the inflator. Temperature compensation is provided by fabricating the target of bimetallic material which changes the spacing of the target from the transducer with temperature or providing a temperature sensitive element, e.g. a thermocouple to electrically provide temperature compensation.

  • Patent number: 5670720
Abstract: A low pressure sensing device for sensing pressure changes in a pressurized gas storage bottle of an inflater. At least one wire is wrapped around the vessel to sense the expansion or contraction of the vessel due to pressure changes in the vessel. The wire has a first end and a second end. The first end of the wire is secured to the vessel and the remainder of the wire is free to move circumferentially relative to the vessel in response to the expansion and contraction of the vessel. This relative movement can be monitored to determine if a pressure change has occurred in the vessel.

  • Patent number: 5668345
Abstract: A hybrid inflator has porous substrate coated with a heat-producing, essentially non gas-producing composition for heating pressurized inflation gases in the inflator.
