  • Publication number: 20260125974
Abstract: One process of the invention includes removing heat from a cooling medium and replenishing a frac water retention pond. The process includes exposing a hot exhaust gas stream to a chamber cooled by the cooling medium in a condensing portion of a carbon capture unit, condensing at least a portion of the hot exhaust gas stream in the condensing portion of the carbon capture unit to allow the condensation and removal of water vapour from the exhaust gas, thereby generating a water stream, wherein a water stream exits the carbon capture unit at an outlet thereof and the water stream move to the frac water retention pond. Another process includes using water to lower a temperature of a cooling medium in a hydraulic fracturing process step. Another process includes using condensed water from a post-combustion carbon capture unit to replenish a frac water source.

  • Patent number: 12378123
Abstract: A chromium-free catalyst for use in a fluidized bed reactor is described. The catalyst comprises 45-70 wt % Fe2O3, 5-15 wt % CuO, 20-35 wt % Al2O3, 10-20 wt % ZnO, and 1-15 wt % K2CO3. The catalyst has a Davison Index (DI %) of less than or equal to 15. A method for converting carbon monoxide (CO) into carbon-dioxide (CO2) using the catalyst is described. The method includes introducing H2O and CO into a fluidized bed reactor having an operating temperature between about 375° C. and about 450° C. and comprising the chromium free catalyst. The CO conversion is at least 60%.

  • Patent number: 11667850
Abstract: An integrated process that is operated to create both a higher value pipelineable crude and a higher value carbon fiber product from a lower value common heavy hydrocarbon feedstock where the feedstock is processed in a thermal reactor followed by a solvent deasphalting unit with the liquids being gathered and processed to reduce olefins for pipeline transport and the solids are processed to generate a marketable carbon fiber product with any gases generated throughout the entire process reused in the process or sold.

  • Patent number: 11272242
Abstract: A graphics building interface for generating a digital graphic is provided to be displayed by and interacted with via a user computing entity. A graphics object is generated. The graphics object is a data structure comprising predetermined fields and predetermined structure information. User input selecting a first selectable option is received. The user input is received via the graphics building interface. At least one pathname corresponding to the first selectable option is identified. The graphics object is updated based on the at least one pathname and the first selectable option. The updated of the graphics object comprises updating two or more fields of the predetermined set of fields. One of the fields is updated at least in part by populating the field with the pathname. The pathname indicates a file, a location within the file, or both where a content item corresponding to the first selectable option is stored.
