  • Publication number: 20230277256
Abstract: Surgical robotic systems and navigation systems employ a robotic arm including a plurality of links. A link tracker assembly is located on the surface of one or more of the links to enable the link to be tracked by a localizer. The link tracker assemblies can utilize a plurality of tracker elements that can be removably coupled to the link. A photosensor assembly is located on the surface of one or more of the links to receive signals from the localizer for controlling the link tracker assembly. The robotic arm can be coupled to a base and the systems can be used in collaboration with a base tracker that is coupled to the base. The robotic arm can also include a mounting interface for receiving an end effector and the systems can be used in collaboration with an end effector tracker that is coupled to the end effector.

  • Publication number: 20060016765
Abstract: A composition and a process for using the composition to treat water for clarifying, sanitizing, or disinfecting water wherein the composition comprises an active oxygen compound and one or more precursors for generating chlorine dioxide (ClO2), and the process comprises contacting water with a solid composition comprising an active oxygen compound and precursors for generating ClO2 and is characterized in that, upon the contacting, at least 10 grams of the composition can be dissolved in about 3.8 liters of water at 25° C. in less than about 60 minutes, thereby generating a solution containing at least about 40 ppm ClO2, is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060018940
Abstract: A composition is disclosed comprising a dissolvable solid containing an active oxygen compound and precursors for chlorine dioxide characterized in that when said solid weighs a total of about 5 grams it dissolves in about 3.8 liters of water at 25° C. in less than 30 minutes, thereby generating an antimicrobial solution containing at least 10 ppm chlorine dioxide.

  • Patent number: 5411692
Abstract: An integral reclosable bag die assembly for extruding a bag film and a closure profile integrally connected thereto, includes a die including an inlet port for receiving molten polymeric material, an elongated outlet port for discharging the molten material, and a coat hanger plenum extending between the inlet and outlet ports for channeling the molten material from the inlet port to the outlet port. The outlet port includes a pair of elongated lips disposed opposite one another. One of the lips is detachably interlocked to a remaining portion of the die and has a closure profile extrusion site configured in the form of the closure profile. The plenum opens into a diverting channel at an upstream location thereof to divert a portion of the molten material from the plenum into the diverting channel.

  • Patent number: 5273595
Abstract: The present invention relates to the integral extrusion of closure profiles and a film through a film die. The present invention provides an apparatus for integrally extruding a film and closure profiles from a single stream of molten material and, consequently, eliminating any joining problems between the film and the closure profiles. The present invention utilizes a removable die lip with removable profile wedges that mount in the die lip and extrude the closure profiles and a film together from a single stream of molten material. In this manner, the closure profiles and the film are integrally formed, and if a new closure profile design is desired, the present invention permits the quick and economical replacement of a removable profile wedge with another.
