  • Publication number: 20050059715
Abstract: The instant invention relates to a combination, particularly a synergistic combination, of an alpha-2-delta ligand and a dual serotonin-noradrenaline re-uptake inhibitor (DSNRI) or one or both of a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI) and a selective noradrenaline re-uptake inhibitor (SNRI), and pharmaceutically acceptable salths thereof, pharmaceutical compositions thereof and their use in the treatment of pain, particularly neuropathic pain.

  • Publication number: 20050017404
Abstract: A method of forming a decorative surface feature on an article formed in a mold includes providing a mold assembly. The mold assembly includes a first mold portion having a textured surface, and a second mold portion, wherein the first and the second mold portions define a mold cavity. A first material is then heated and introduced the into the mold cavity. The mold cavity is then closed. A second material is introduced into the mold cavity, such that an imprint of the textured surface of the first mold portion is transferred to the first material, thereby forming an article having a decorative surface feature formed thereon. Preferably, the introduction of the second material into the cavity applies a force on the first material, such that the first material is moved into contact with the textured surface of the first mold portion.

  • Publication number: 20030202531
Abstract: A switch node includes arbiter logic configured to gather global information regarding switching requests within the switch node and to control switching of one or more packets through the switch node. The arbiter logic may include a bus snooping interface configured to detect the switching requests within the switch node. The bus snooping interface includes a plurality of switching request destination registers configured to store switching request destination information from the detected switching requests. In addition, the arbiter logic includes a packet switching request array configured to transmit a next switching request within the switch node according to prior switching request destination information stored in the switching request destination registers. The switching of the one or more packets may be through a cross-point switch matrix in the switch node.

  • Patent number: 5367701
Abstract: A partitionable computing system includes main storage units on respective sides of the complex which can be fully controlled and accessible from either side. The system includes a dual port main storage unit design, and a system controller design capable of driving plural main storage unit interfaces. With this configuration, one system controller and the processors attached to that system controller can be taken offline and partitioned off to perform maintenance while all of the physical main storage units remain accessible to the processors on the surviving side of the complex. The operating system sees no loss available memory and the time to perform the maintenance activity is significantly reduced.
