Publication number: 20240112884Abstract: A system may include a controller couplable to an imaging sub-system utilizing multiple particle beams, where the imaging sub-system includes one or more control elements to manipulate the two or more particle beams that are adjustable with two or more control parameters. The controller may select values of the two or more control parameters by iteratively performing steps until one or more termination conditions are met. For example, the controller may receive measurements of changes of distortions of the particle beams resulting from individual adjustments of the control parameters. The controller may further calculate values of the control parameters that reduce the distortions of the particle beams based on the changes of the distortions resulting from the individual adjustments. The controller may further direct the adjustment of the values of the control parameters to the calculated values.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Michael I. Patent number: 11049745Abstract: A method of semiconductor-wafer image alignment is performed at a semiconductor-wafer defect-inspection system. In the method, a semiconductor wafer is loaded into the semiconductor-wafer defect-inspection system. Pre-inspection alignment is performed for the semiconductor wafer. After performing the pre-inspection alignment, a first swath is executed to generate a first image of a first region on the semiconductor wafer. An offset of a target structure in the first image with respect to a known point is determined. Defect identification is performed for the first image, using the offset. After executing the first swath and determining the offset, a second swath is executed to generate a second image of a second region on the semiconductor wafer. While executing the second swath, run-time alignment of the semiconductor wafer is performed using the offset.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2019Date of Patent: June 29, 2021Assignee: KLA CorporationInventors: David Dowling, Tarunark Singh, Bjorn Brauer, Santosh Bhattacharyya, Bryant Mantiply, Hucheng Lee, Xiaochun Li, Sangbong Park

Patent number: 9619127Abstract: A method in accordance with an embodiment allows for a user to change a wireless speed setting for a device. The method includes sending, from a server over a network, information for displaying an interface in a web page to allow a user to change a wireless speed setting for the device. The method further includes receiving, by the server over the network, a selected wireless speed setting as input by the user into the interface. The change of the wireless speed is then performed by sending, to a computer of a wireless network provider, a request to change the wireless speed setting for the device to the selected wireless speed setting.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2013Date of Patent: April 11, 2017Assignee: NETZERO WIRELESS, INC.Inventors: Curtis Varner, Andrew Rosen, David Dowling

Patent number: 8118526Abstract: An adhesive washer for a toilet seat fastener assembly which can be easily installed in the toilet seat fastener assembly without having to cope with the problem of slipping bolts and nuts as they will be securely adhered together. An adhesive toilet seat washer in accordance with the present invention comprises a washer material having an adhesive on at least one side of the washer for adhering to the fastener and holding it in place. In practice, a toilet seat is positioned such that the hole on the toilet seat hinge is directly above the hole on the outer wings of the commode bowl basin and a fastener is inserted through both of the holes in the toilet seat hinge and the commode bowl basin. The washer then is secured against the bottom of the commode bowl basin hole and the fastener, and the adhesive on at least one of the surfaces of the washer acts to hold the fastener in position, thereby maintaining the tightness and security of the fastener assembly.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2007Date of Patent: February 21, 2012Inventor: David A.
