    Abstract: The present invention is directed to an easily biodegradable low viscosity, low Noack volatility lube oil material having a viscosity index (VI) in the range of about 110-145, >98% saturates useful as lube oil basestock, automatic transmission fluid (ATF) basestock or blending stock. The lube oil material is produced by the isomerization of a wax feed having a viscosity of from 4 to 10 cSt at 100.degree. C. and containing less than about 25% oil in wax.
