  • Publication number: 20220268800
Abstract: A hybrid sensor assembly is configured to be mounted on a vehicle to sense structure borne and airborne noises generated as the vehicle travels over the roads. The sensor assembly includes a housing having a circuit board mounted therein, an accelerometer mounted on the circuit board, a microphone mounted on the circuit board, an acoustic port through the housing and in communication with the microphone, and an acoustic fabric attached to the housing over the port. An acoustic shield covers the acoustic port and substantially deters the entry of fluid and debris into the acoustic port.

  • Publication number: 20180276717
Abstract: Described are systems, media, methods, and platforms that provide an application for generating content-limited, interactive previews for electronic media. The application includes an interface allowing a content provider to upload a full electronic media and select one or more contiguous subsets of the media, a module configured to process the electronic media to restrict consumer access to the one or more contiguous subsets of the full electronic media, an interface allowing the content provider to input promotional content, a module configured to integrate the promotional content into the one or more contiguous subsets of the full electronic media to form the content-limited, interactive preview for the electronic media, and a module configured to send an invitation to the consumer to view the preview. • Publication number: 20080021914
Abstract: The invention is a database adapter providing improved methods for storing and retrieving relational data. Suitable source data is structured as a table with a fixed number of columns of predetermined types and a variable number of rows. The invention reduces the space and time used to store data and the time taken to retrieve stored data. The invention is best implemented inside Object Relational Database Systems, but can also be implemented in any database that can execute routines written in programming languages such as C#, C or Java. Functionally, the invention combines the concept of nested tables with fast compression techniques so that nested tables are practical for solving a wide class of problems.

  • Publication number: 20070021003
Abstract: A high speed connector includes a plurality of terminal assemblies in which two columns of conductive terminals are supported in an insulative support body, the body including an internal cavity disposed between the two columns of conductive terminals. The terminals are arranged in horizontal pairs, and the internal cavity defines an air channel between each horizontal pair of terminals arranged in the two columns of terminals. The terminals are further aligned with each other in each row so that horizontal faces of the terminals in the two rows face each other to thereby promote broadside coupling between horizontal pairs of terminals.

  • Publication number: 20070021004
Abstract: A high speed connector includes a plurality of wafer-style components in which two columns of conductive terminals are supported in an insulative support body, the body including an internal cavity disposed between the two columns of conductive terminals. A dielectric insert is provided between the columns of terminals to thereby influence the broadside coupling between pairs of terminals.

  • Publication number: 20050176307
Abstract: A connector assembly is provided with opposing and interengageable first and second connector components. Each of the two components has internal cavities that contain terminal assemblies of either plug or receptacle structure and may further include either a plurality of power terminals or differential signal terminals. The terminals have contact portions, tail portions and interconnecting portions that are partially encapsulated by an insulative outer support frames. The shell forms a wafer and two such wafers are combined together to form a terminal assembly. The terminal assemblies are identical in shape, other than for an engagement means that serves to hold two subframes together as a single assembly.

  • Publication number: 20040219464
Abstract: Negative surface relief diffractive optical elements (218) are supported or formed at interior surfaces of injection molding molds (200, 916, 1002) for wireless communication device housing parts (502). Such injection molding molds are used to making housing parts that include integrally molded surface relief diffractive optical elements (504) e.g., holograms. Such diffractive optical elements can be used to convey information or for decorative effects. The negative surface relief holograms can be mechanically mounted or formed on the interior surfaces by exposing a resist on the interior surfaces to a holographic light field or a succession of laser interference patterns, and there after developing and using the resist as an etch mask.

  • Publication number: 20020188328
Abstract: An implantable medical device and method of pacing provide for switching from a first pacing mode to second pacing mode upon detection of a period of accelerated atrial arrhythmia. Generally, the second pacing mode has an associated predetermined lower pacing rate. At least initially, upon switching from the first pacing mode to the second pacing mode, the predetermined lower pacing rate is adjusted to an elevated adjusted lower rate. Further, this elevated adjusted lower rate may then be decelerated towards a programmed basic pacing rate during a deceleration period. Generally, the programmed basic pacing rate is elevated relative to the predetermined lower pacing rate.
