    Abstract: A surgical instrument includes an anvil and an elongate channel. The elongate channel includes a plurality of first electrical contacts and a plurality of electrical connectors comprising a plurality of second electrical contacts, wherein the electrical connectors are spring-biased such that a gap is maintained between the first electrical contacts and the second electrical contacts. The surgical instrument further includes a staple cartridge releasably attachable to the elongate channel, wherein the staple cartridge has a cartridge body comprising a plurality of staple cavities, a plurality of staples deployable from the staple cavities into the tissue, and a plurality of third electrical contacts, wherein the attachment of the staple cartridge to the elongate channel moves the electrical connectors causing the second electrical contacts to bridge the gap and become electrically coupled to the first electrical contacts.

    Abstract: A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.

In one embodiment, the indexing pattern has a v-shaped configuration with diagonal portions that may vary or alternate in shape and color.     Abstract: A trusted relabeler system and software is provided that allows for the simultaneous reclassification of multiple files to multiple classification labels (security domains or computer networks) through automation of the multi-person review process. Roles, used to break down the requirements of the multi-person review process, dictate what specific function a user can perform. There are three roles used: Submitter, Processor, and Reviewer. Users are assigned one or more roles and a set of source and destination classification labels inside the security policy of a specific user that are bounded (restricted) by the clearance (maximum classification) assigned to a user on the trusted operating system on which the trusted relabeler system is implemented. The bundled documents to be reclassified are virus scanned, file typed, and searched for “dirty words” indicative of a particular classification level. Files are upgraded or downgraded only if all processes are completed successfully.
