  • Patent number: 9637289
Abstract: A package closure embodying a rotatable material stripping element provides a means to close off the package opening and comprises a material stripping element that accommodates the insertion and withdrawal of an external mixing element with a predetermined close fit. Whereas, the said mixing element may be inserted through the closure and into the vessel to mix material contained therein, and after the mixing operation is complete, the material stripping element strips off substantially whatever material residue is sticking to the mixing element as it being withdrawn from the vessel and the closure, thus preventing it from escaping the vessel.

  • Patent number: 9623387
Abstract: A mixing tool with an integrated stripping element for removing material residue from its embodied mixing element.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 8, 2014
Date of Patent: April 18, 2017
    Assignee: GALOMB, INC.

  • Patent number: 9211670
Abstract: A support apparatus that removably secures an injection tube assembly in a vertical orientation, and controls its temperature when secured therein. The apparatus facilitates the mixing of materials contained in the injection tube portion of the assembly. In one embodiment the apparatus cooperates with a material stripping apparatus that strips off material residue from an external mixing element as it is being withdrawn from the injection tube. In another embodiment, it cooperates with a mixing tool with an integrated stripping element. The tool both mixes the material in the tube and then strips the material residue off its embodied mixing element as it is being withdrawn from the tube. If desired, the apparatus may also be employed in cooperation with an injection molding apparatus to produce an injection molded part with the now mixed material. Alternative embodiments and other advantages are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6488556
Abstract: A toy including stand up flexible pouch or other flexible type pouch affixed to a rollable mechanical base and method of making the toy. When assembled, the toy may be manually or remotely controlled to roll or move about in a predetermined direction or fashion. The flexible pouch is shaped and printed to resemble a desired character while still maintaining its ability to contain a product. The base apparatus includes rolling members, e.g., wheels, to allow the base to be rolled or otherwise moved across a surface. The pouch and base are joined together, for example, by heat sealing, ultrasonic sealing, adhesives, etc. The rollable base may include a battery or other power source and/or electronics allowing for remote controllability of the assembled toy. The flexible pouch may contain a separate food or other product and a fitment, snap closure or other type of reclosure as desired.
