Abstract: Wax-based compositions for making barrier layers used in oral treatment devices are thermally stable when formed into a flat sheet or three-dimensional article to a temperature of at least 45° C. and are plastically deformable at room temperature (25° C.). The wax-based compositions include a wax fraction homogeneously blended with a polymer fraction. The wax fraction includes at least one wax and the polymer fraction includes at least one polymer selected such that, when the at least one wax and at least one polymer are homogeneously blended together, they yield a wax-based composition having the desired properties of thermal stability and plastic deformability. Barrier layers and oral treatment devices made from such wax-based compositions are dimensionally stable to a temperature of at least 40° C. without external support and can be plastically deformed in a user's mouth to become at least partially customized to the size and shape of user's unique dentition.

Abstract: Various methods and devices are provided for allowing multiple surgical instruments to be inserted into sealing elements of a single surgical access device. The sealing elements can be movable along predefined pathways within the device to allow surgical instruments inserted through the sealing elements to be moved laterally, rotationally, angularly, and vertically relative to a central longitudinal axis of the device for ease of manipulation within a patient's body while maintaining insufflation.

Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) visualization of multi-layer networks include receiving data associated with a network, wherein the network includes interconnected network elements that operate at a plurality of levels that include any of network layers and encapsulations; displaying a plurality of three-dimensional icons each represent one of a plurality of network elements of the interconnected network elements; and displaying links between the plurality of three-dimensional icons each link representing one of a network layer connection and an encapsulation connection.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments facilitating a holistic engagement with a user across multiple communication channels of an organization or an enterprise based at least in part on a determined user intent. As users interact with various services associated with the organization through one or more communication channels, interaction data can be captured and stored. In various examples, the interaction data that is stored by the various services can be obtained and organized according to a predefined schema. The organized interaction data can be applied to a trained intent model that outputs a user intent based at least in part on observations of other users with similar histories. The predicted intent can be provided to the different services such that subsequent interactions between the user and the organization can be based at least in part on the intent in a consistent manner, regardless of the communication channel associated with the interaction.

Abstract: Technologies for data capture and data analysis include a system having a knowledge repository in which all input data is stored as objects and relationships between objects, and each object represents at least one container of one or more properties. The knowledge repository is capable of storing the input data according to more than one storage format. The system may also include a user interface providing an input mechanism to obtain the input data, object information that defines one or more of the properties, and relationship information that defines one or more of the relationships. The system includes a controller configured to receive the input data, the object information, and the relationship information from the user interface and to cause the input data to be stored in the knowledge repository as at least one object based on the object information and the relationship information.

The remote computer may also generate a digital promotion associated with at least one item on the electronic shopping list and send notification of the digital promotion to the mobile wireless communications device.

Abstract: A system for determining regulatory compliance of a digital promotion may include a user device and a regulatory offers server. The server may obtain, via the user device, a proposed digital promotion associated with a regulated product, a geographic region, and proposed promotional terms. A corresponding legal jurisdiction corresponding to the geographic region may be determined, and if the promotion is compliant based upon the regulations for the corresponding jurisdiction, the proposed promotion, and the proposed promotional terms may be determined. If the promotion is not compliant, the proposed promotional terms may be revised to generate a suggested compliant promotion based upon the regulations for the corresponding jurisdiction. A compliance indication may be communicated to the user device, and when not compliant, the suggested compliant digital promotion may also be communicated.
