Abstract: Scaled content licensing platform and marketplace systems, methods, and media are provided. In some embodiments, a method for providing scaled content licensing is provided, where the method includes: receiving a request from a content creator to upload a media content item to a content sharing service; determining that the media content item incorporates a media asset that is owned at least partially by a partner, wherein the media asset is associated with a claim in which at least one license is available; determining whether a license usage is associated with the media content item that corresponds with the media asset; generating a claim bundle that contains the claim associated with the partner and the license usage associated with the content creator; determining a policy based on the generated claim bundle; and performing an action on the media content item based on the determined policy.

Abstract: A system and method for deriving associations between assets is disclosed. The method includes determining a first fingerprint for a first asset, determining a second asset that matches at least a portion of the first asset based on the first fingerprint, determining whether the first asset and the second asset have a common owner, and responsive to determining that the first asset and the second asset have the common owner, creating an association between the first asset and the second asset.

These components of the system are communicatively coupled to each other. The signature module generates a first fingerprint for a first asset. The matching module determines a matching fingerprint that matches the first fingerprint from a candidate set. The matching module determines a first asset type for the first asset associated with the first fingerprint and a second asset type for a second asset associated with the matching fingerprint. The matching module determines an association test. The association module associates the first asset with the matching asset based on whether the association test is passed.

The processing device generates, in relation to the first media content item, an authorization indication, the authorization indication reflecting an authorization of the first entity to provide the first media content item in relation to a media sharing service. The processing device provides the authorization indication.

Abstract: A system and method for clearing granular rights is disclosed. The system comprises communication module, a territorial requirements engine, an existing license module and a determination module. The communication module for receives, from a service provider, a description of a service to be provided for an asset in a territory. The territorial requirements engine determines a territorial requirement for providing the service in the territory based at least in part on a territorial rule for the territory. The existing license module determines a missing right based at least in part on the territorial requirement. The determination module determines a preferred licensor for purchasing a license for the missing right in the territory.

Abstract: Systems and methods for offering base band voice telephony while using derived voice over data technology such as VoATM or VoIP are disclosed. The system may generally comprise a derived voice over data termination device located outside of the client premise and a connection between the client premise and the derived voice over data termination device, where the connection between the client premise and the derived voice over data termination device is a base-band analog voice loop. The derived voice over data termination device is configured to convert between base band signals and derived voice over data signals utilizing derived voice over data technology.
