Abstract: An assembly integrates an aft wing spar root fitting to an aircraft fuselage when joining the aircraft wing to the aircraft body. The assembly provides structural strength to the connection between the aircraft wing and the aircraft body, provides corrosion prevention and provides improved inspection capabilities and repair capabilities to the aircraft wing and aircraft body connection.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to methods and systems for computer-aided design. Modification size and/or position design data may be received at a computer for a first vehicle component having a functional and/or spatial relationship with a second vehicle component also having size and/or position design data. The size and/or position design data for the second vehicle component may be automatically updating at the computer based on the modification size and/or position design data for the first vehicle component. Based on the modification size and/or position design data and the updated size and/or position design data, a compliance status with one or more design standards defined for the vehicle component(s) for the first vehicle component or the second vehicle component may be determined.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of managing an appearance of electronic documents includes defining a first style sheet, the first style sheet including a style, the style including an attribute and a value associated with the attribute. The defined first style sheet, the attribute and the value may then be stored in a database driven repository at a first identified location. A first linking statement referencing the identified first location may then be generated. The generated first linking statement may then be embedded in a first electronic document such that when the electronic document is rendered, execution of the first linking statement causes the stored first style sheet to be accessed at the identified location and the style included in the first style sheet applied to the first electronic document.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing ridges on snow covered fields are described. A row of snow is severed from the snow cover and elevated to provide a trench in the snow cover. The row is then deflected to one side of the trench and deposited on the undisturbed snow covering beside the trench. This produces a wind barrier on the snow covered field, reducing wind erosion of the snow cover. In preferred embodiments, two spaced trenches are cut and the rows of snow removed from them are placed on the undisturbed ridge of snow between them. In the apparatus, the rows of snow are severed, elevated and deposited by a support plate carried on two runners. The support plate floats on the undisturbed center ridge of snow. The two rows are deflected to side by side positions for deposit on top of the undisturbed center ridge by a pair of adjustable deflector plates. The two runners are supported on adjustable skis so that depth control is possible.
