    Abstract: An insulated concrete form has: a first side wall portion; a second side wall portion substantially parallel with said first side wall portion; and a pillar portion extending between said the side wall portions. The pillar portion has: a first tapered section; a second tapered section; and a center section extending between said tapered sections. The first tapered section, the second tapered section and the center section each have an octagonal-shaped longitudinal cross-section. The insulated concrete form may include a plurality of pillar portions extending between the side wall portions, with the plurality of pillar portions being substantially parallel with each other. A wall structure may be formed from a plurality of such insulated concrete forms.

    Abstract: A truck restraining apparatus has a vertically extending jackscrew (18) to which a follower nut (38) is mounted. A hook shaped restraining member (36) is resiliently coupled to the follower nut and moves therewith when the jackscrew is rotated. The hook shaped member engages the ICC bar of a truck to restrain it from moving, while the resilient coupling compensates for float.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed for verifying the integrity of servo data stored as a series of parallel servo tracks on a disk. Each track includes automatic gain control data and servo positioning data. The peak amplitudes of the automatic gain control pulses on a first track determine a first effective threshold or AGC gain level. The first threshold level is then shifted to a higher, enhanced threshold level. Servo data pulses from a second track are then detected, based on the enhanced threshold level and the AGC gain level of the first track. Should these servo data pulses not be fully detected, an error is recorded for the second servo track.
