    Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a method for context aware data backup may include determining a first set of files that are altered during normal operation of a computer system and storing the first set of files at a destination location. The method may include determining a second set of files that are altered during normal operation of the computer system and determining a size difference between the first set of files and the second set of files. The method may also include determining a time difference between a first time taken to copy the first set of files and a second time taken to copy a previous set of files to the destination location. The method may include determining that the size difference and the time difference meet a threshold for backup and storing the second set of files at the destination location.
