  • Patent number: 9720818
Abstract: A testing framework has been developed to address these issues that takes common functionality normally imported by the testing scripts on the client device and instead splits the functionality into standalone, fault tolerant, scalable services. Accordingly, the scripts can utilize the functionality through APIs and therefore test drivers executing a test or building a test environment or other testing processes may access the services through an API. Therefore, each testing client and test driver does not need to separately import the functionality and run the functionality on the memory of the client device separately. Rather, multiple tests can use these functionalities, allowing the testing services to be scaled between tests.

  • Publication number: 20150322696
Abstract: A double acting service traffic door latch system embodiment of the present invention comprises a dual electro-mechanical lock in a single housing that is surface installed in the overhead door casings horizontally just over two bi-swing tandem warehouse security doors. Each electro-mechanical lock has two catches that drop down with a pivot arm onto either side of its respective door to prevent that door opening in either direction. A flat thin-profile housing allows the lock assembly to fit in between the tops of existing doors and their header. The doors can freely swing open if the respective catches retract back into the housing. Wireless RFID readers are used to unlock the doors when authorized users approach and are recognized. The lock is failsafe in that losing power will always unlock the doors immediately.

  • Patent number: 9145724
Abstract: A hydraulic closer and dampener that can be removed and replaced by opening a post cap to then lift an internal closer assembly out of the top of an internally pivotable shaft inside a free-standing floor-mounted post. The remainder of the gate mechanism remains functional during such service. An automatic closing speed adjustment is easy to access and set. There are no external hinges, the gate pivots on an axis coaxial to the cylindrical post.

  • Patent number: 8807605
Abstract: A bi-swing warehouse door latch system installs an electro-mechanical lock horizontally in the door casings overhead. Each has two catches to drop down on either side of the door. The doors are allowed to swing open when the respective catches are unlatched by a solenoid. The doors are not allowed to swing open when the respective catches are held latched by another solenoid and a teeter arm. Battery powered models produce brief pulses to put the catches in their locked states or unlocked states using a capacitor to store enough energy after power is lost to kick the solenoids. Utility powered versions can be configured to automatically relax into locked or unlocked states when power is lost. The doors are controlled to unlock when those with authorized access are recognized.

  • Publication number: 20090064417
Abstract: A device for lifting a person from a supine position into a raised supine position or sitting posture. The device comprises at least one U-shaped inflatable structure which defines a hollow and a flexible membrane which is attachable to the device. The membrane is extendable over at least a portion of the hollow to provide a support surface for the person.

  • Publication number: 20070107270
Abstract: An attachment for a heavy equipment vehicle, which comprises four different functions. The attachment can serve as a box blade, grapple, ripper, or bucket with front cutting edge. It is highly convenient for a user who wishes to accomplish multiple tasks without having to change the attachment on the vehicle, thus saving time and money on the worksite. The attachment is hydraulically controlled, similar to any other vehicle attachment.

  • Publication number: 20050284150
Abstract: An auxiliary power unit (APU) includes a compressor, a turbine, a combustor, and a starter-generator unit all integrated within a single containment housing. The turbine has an output shaft on which the compressor is mounted, and the starter-generator unit is coupled to the turbine output shaft without any intervening gears. The rotating components are all rotationally supported within the containment housing using bearings that do not receive a flow of lubricating fluid.

  • Publication number: 20050076650
Abstract: An auxiliary power unit (APU) includes a rotary fuel slinger, and a single-spool, two-stage turbine. The rotary fuel slinger receives a rotational drive force from the turbine, and a supply of fuel from a fuel source. The rotary fuel slinger injects the fuel into a combustor as a continuous “fuel sheet.” As a result, fuel mixing and atomization inside the combustor is improved, which reduces emissions and pattern factor, which in turn increases turbine life.
