  • Patent number: 11281164
Abstract: Systems and methods for timer visualization are disclosed. A device, such as a voice-controlled device, may not have means of visually displaying a timer and/or the progression of a timer. The device may send timer data to an accessory device, which may be configured to provide one or more visual indications of the timer set via the device as well as the progression of the timer. Multiple timers may be sent and differing visual indications may be displayed to show the multiple timers and/or attributes associated with the timers, such as the location of the device in an environment, the user profile associated with the setting of the timer, and/or the state of the device.

  • Patent number: 11256463
Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying prioritized content using a display array are described herein. In some embodiments, a display array may include two or more display devices, which may render content thereby. If an update or change to the content occurs, or if new content is requested, then that content may be assigned a higher priority level. A computing system may include a device management system that continually monitors the availability of the various display devices of the display array, and based on the content received by an applications management system of the computing system, determines which display device should render which content. For instance, an update to content displayed on a second display device may be caused to be displayed on a first display device in response to the device management system determining that the first display device is to be used for displaying high priority content.

  • Patent number: 11176930
Abstract: Systems including physical devices, such as button and switches, that receive audio when a user performs a specific interaction are described. The audio may correspond to a particular spoken command to be executed by a system in a time-delayed fashion. At a later time, when another interaction is performed with the physical device, the device may send the stored audio to a server for processing to determine a command associated with the audio. A device may store multiple audio data segments corresponding to multiple different commands, and each piece of audio data corresponding to a command may be associated with a specific physical operation of a device. If audio data is determined as corresponding to a multiple-input command, additional information needed to perform the multiple-input command may be audibly gathered from a user.

  • Patent number: 9973079
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes (a) an analog-to-digital converter operated according to a first clock signal; and (b) a charge pump circuit providing a negative power supply voltage to the integrated circuit, the charge pump circuit being operated according to a second clock signal having a frequency that is different from a frequency of the first clock signal, such that a noise level introduced by the charge pump into the analog-to-digital converter is less than the average noise level over a predetermined range of frequencies for the second clock signal. The integrated circuit may further include a clock divider circuit (e.g., a programmable clock divider) that generates both the first clock signal and the second clock signal.

  • Publication number: 20140239970
Abstract: A method for detecting an open-circuit in an external thermocouple network includes these steps: (a) injecting a current pulse of a predetermined duration into the external thermocouple network; and (b) measuring the voltage across the pair of terminals after a time period following the predetermined duration. In one example, the time period is sufficiently long to allow the current pulse to dissipate from the external thermocouple circuit when a thermocouple in the external thermocouple network does not have an open circuit. The thermocouple network may include a resistor-capacitor network provided between the thermocouple and one of the terminals.

  • Patent number: 7526518
Abstract: A present invention Galois field multiplier system and method utilize lookup tables to generate one partial product term and one feedback term in one clock cycle. In one embodiment, a Galois field multiplier system includes a plurality of shift registers, a plurality of exclusive OR components, a partial product lookup table, and a feedback table lookup table. The plurality of shift registers perform shift multiplication operation and are coupled to the plurality of shift registers that perform addition operations. The partial product lookup table and feedback lookup tables are selectively coupled to the exclusive OR components and values from the partial product lookup table and feedback lookup tables are fed into the selectively coupled exclusive OR components. Coefficients of the partial product term and feedback term are utilized as indexes to the partial product lookup table and feedback lookup table respectively.
