  • Publication number: 20070235507
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for a form for a postcard mailer are disclosed. An example form includes a substrate sheet having top and bottom edges, first and second side edges, and first and second faces. The form also includes at least first and second fold lines dividing the sheet into at least first, second, and third panels with a hang tag removably coupled to at least a portion of one of the first, second or third panels. Finally, the form has a first adhesive area provided on the first face of at least one of the second or third panels and a second adhesive area provided on the second face of at least one of the first and second panels, wherein the first and second adhesive areas adhere the third panel to the first face of the second panel and the first panel to the second face of the second panel when the substrate sheet is folded about the fold lines.

  • Publication number: 20050045704
Abstract: A pouch form includes a first web of material having a top printable sheet with an adhesive bottom layer, and a bottom liner secured to the top printable sheet via the adhesive bottom layer. A second web of transparent material has three sides thereof fixed to the bottom liner via adhesive strips to define a transparent pouch. The first and second webs, when assembled, are sized such that the pouch form is suitable for laser printing. Portions of the bottom liner may be selectively partially coated with a release material to define at least one label area in the top printable sheet. In this manner, a corresponding at least one label may be die cut from the top printable sheet. The form is particularly suited for controlled items, enabling the contents of the pouch to be labeled with an integrated pre-printed label before being inserted into the form pouch. The form preferably also includes structure to effect a closing seal.

  • Publication number: 20040146682
Abstract: A decal form includes a laminate construction of a base sheet and a cover sheet with a patch of adhesive release material formed on the base sheet between the base sheet and the cover sheet. A decal window for receiving a decal is die cut from the cover sheet exposing the adhesive release material patch. A decal may be releasably affixed in the window over the adhesive release material patch. The form can be used in sheet form, fanfold form, or roll and can be used as a mailer or for individual use.

  • Patent number: 6471817
Abstract: A laser printable sheet with vehicular registration and permitting decals and/or stickers is produced in a manner that insures the sheet lays-flat, rather than being crooked, so that it does not cause significant jamming problems in laser printers. Adhesive-release material is spot coated on a web back surface, including a first patch, the back surface is imaged with static indicia, and a substantially transparent plastic pressure sensitive adhesive laminate is applied over the back surface, including over the adhesive release material patch and first static indicia. The face is die cut at the first patch within the parameter of the patch to form the first die cut portion, which is then sucked off the substrate to provide an open area with exposed transparent plastic and pressure sensitive adhesive, and then a piggy back decal is blown onto the open area. The decal is preferably a license plate decal having a reflective visible surface in vehicular registration and permitting indicia.

  • Patent number: 4102153
Abstract: A tree harvesting machine has delimbing knives which are fixed to arms having hubs fixed, by means of a shear pin assembly, to a rock shaft. The shear pin assembly includes a pair of headed pins which are inserted into opposite ends of first and second axially aligned bores respectively extending diametrically through the hub and shaft. A pair of retaining clips are secured to the hub by and are respectively urged against the pin heads by a pair of cap screws. The pins are dimensioned such that their respective inner ends are spaced from each other when the pins are installed.
