  • Publication number: 20240153648
Abstract: A computational evidence platform extracts clinical concepts from medical evidence sources and creates a database of elemental diagnostic factors and elemental investigations links to medical conditions. Input from a person groups factors and investigations makes corrections and adds a ranking Elemental factors and investigations do not include information specific to their associated conditions but include synonyms and a link to a medical ontology. A patient state is determined by extracting patient known diagnostic factors and investigation results from the patient chart. These known factors and results are matched to the database and a ranking of likely conditions are output. Next-best actions per condition are output by determining factors not yet known and investigations not yet performed. Next-best actions across conditions are determined by performing a recursive tree search of the database and assuming that unknown factors are now known to generate a score for each assumption.

  • Patent number: 11948116
Abstract: A computer implemented system, method, or computer readable medium for providing a visual interactive software tool that permits users to investigate and evaluate financial, trade, and business-related risks. An interactive tool is provided that can integrate front and back end capabilities to, for example, provide quick and efficient navigation to pertinent information in a visual workspace. The system, method, or computer readable medium can be configured to include a software engine that identifies corridors or other subgraph features in accordance with automated traversal based on a set of rules. The features can provide a notification and selective visual access to risk-related subgraphs based on topic, category, or sanctions as a virtual lens for the user in connection with a displayed node.

  • Patent number: 11947407
Abstract: A computer system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium are provided. A request including unauthenticated data is created and securely transmitted to a remote device, metadata corresponding to the request is updated to indicate successful validation, a response file is validated, and a discrepancy is detected between the unauthenticated data and the authenticated data. Correction data is obtained, and a transaction based on the request and the correction data is executed. A second processor of the remote device verifies that an unauthorized user has not modified the authenticated data, generates a database table based on one or more fields of the authenticated data, extracts one or more predetermined data values from the authenticated data and the database table, and validates the unauthenticated data in the request based on comparing the one or more predetermined data values from the authenticated data and the database table to the unauthenticated data in the request.

  • Patent number: 11596427
Abstract: Devices for loading intravascular treatment devices into a sheath and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A sheathing tool may include, for example, a first channel extending to a first opening, the first channel configured to receive a treatment device in a constrained state therethrough. The treatment device may include an elongated member and a first element and a second element at a distal region of the elongated member. The second channel may extend to a second opening, the second opening surrounded by a sidewall and configured to receive the treatment device in the constrained state therethrough, wherein the second opening is spaced apart from the first opening by a gap, and wherein a length of the gap is great enough to allow the first element to self-expand over the sidewall while the second element generally maintains its diameter in the constrained state while crossing the gap.

  • Publication number: 20230054910
Abstract: A multi-function cane for the visually impaired can have an adjustable elongate shaft, a distal tip with a free end for contacting the walking surface, and a compression brake disposed between the shaft and the distal tip. The distal tip can have a distal portion rotatable about the axis of the cane shaft. The compression brake can allow the distal tip of the multi-function cane to rotate so the cane operates as a mobility cane when the brake is disengaged. The application of a compressive longitudinal force can engage the brake to prevent rotation of the distal tip so the cane can be load-bearing to operate as a support cane.

  • Patent number: 11551813
Abstract: A next-best-action system includes real-time operation and off-line training and processes. During off-line training databases of medical conditions and associated diagnostic factors, tests and treatments are used to create models used for later natural language processing of input electronic text. Diagnostic factors are ranked according to the probability that they indicate conditions and are stored in a matrix. Treatments corresponding to conditions are also stored in a matrix. During real-time operation electronic text is received from patient history of an EHR system, from a transcribed conversation between a physician and a patient, or from input that the physician makes in the EHR system or in an overlaid diagnostic user interface. The electronic text is processed by an NLP pipeline that derives clinical diagnostic factors and test results for the patient.
