  • Patent number: 10818280
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic device storage container for preventing unauthorized eavesdropping by an electronic device that includes active listening capabilities. The electronic device storage container includes a base, perimeter sidewalls extending upwardly therefrom to form an interior volume, and a lid hingedly affixed to one sidewall. An electronics housing is disposed within the interior volume and includes a power source operably connected to a white noise generator, a photosensor, a plurality of USB ports, an internal speaker, an external speaker, a fan, a volume control, a lid interlock switch, and one or more exterior LEDs. The housing may include layers of soundproofing material. The white noise generator emits a sound signal to prevent the microphone of the stored electronic device from recording conversations or other sounds.

  • Publication number: 20180240450
Abstract: The present invention provides a soundproof storage container for preventing unauthorized eavesdropping via a hacked electronic device. The soundproof storage container includes a housing comprising a base, a sidewall forming an interior volume, and a lid hingedly affixed to the sidewall. The housing further includes a soundproof liner disposed between an interior surface and an exterior surface of the housing, such that the soundproof liner extends the entirety of the housing. A microphone is disposed on the interior surface of the housing and a speaker is disposed on the exterior surface of the housing, wherein the speaker is operably connected to the microphone. Both the speaker and microphone are operably connected to a power source disposed within the housing. In an alternate embodiment, a wireless charging mat and at least one charging port are disposed on the base of the housing, wherein each is operably connected to the power source.

  • Patent number: 7811159
Abstract: An apparatus for providing convenience services to a stationary vehicle independent of the vehicle's electrical system. At least one conduit is attached to a housing for transferring the services to a supply panel. The supply panel includes a face on which the various controls and connectors associated with the supplied convenience services, such as heating, cooling, electrical power, compressed air, computer network communications, telephone, video, and television, are disposed. The supply panel is dimensioned to interface with the stationary vehicle through an opening in the vehicle, such as a window or service door, and includes means for providing a substantially airtight seal for climate control.

  • Patent number: 7637224
Abstract: An inflatable barrier system halts an approaching boat. A barrier support platform houses a pressurized gas source and a power supply and has a winch connected to a pair of cables. An inflatable barrier body member having a bow and stern is coupled to the pressurized gas source for inflation of the body member and the cables are connected to the bow and stern to deploy the inflated body member at the surface of the water and to maintain the bow above the surface and the stern below the surface of the water. A barrier controller provides signals indicative of the approaching boat to initiate the inflation of the inflatable barrier body member and the deployment of the inflated barrier body member at the surface with the bow above the surface and the stern below the surface without inflicting excessive damage to the boat or injury to its occupants.
