  • Publication number: 20240139531
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for generating pulse pacing in a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (“WCD”). In one aspect the WCD circuitry includes a power source such as a battery coupled to a charger that provides charge energy to an energy storage module. Control circuitry is operatively coupled to the charger and the output circuitry, and configured to cause the WCD circuitry to generate pacing pulses delivered to therapy electrodes (attached to an ambulatory patient) without a current source. The WCD circuitry includes one or more processing elements that are used to execute instructions provided by one or more software modules that are configured to support various functionality, including controlling generation of pacing pulses.

  • Patent number: 11945552
Abstract: A boat, having a transom, includes one or more aft-facing seats. Each aft-facing seat is positioned proximate to the transom and includes a seat bottom that is inclined at a downward angle in a direction extending from aft to fore, a seatback, a headrest, a seat support structure having at least one hidden compartment therein, and at least one pivot mechanism attached to the seatback and the headrest and configured to allow the seatback to move between a first position in which the seatback is capable of supporting the back of a person seated in the seat and a second position in which the seatback is pivoted upwardly to allow access to the compartment and the headrest to move between an upright position and a folded position. A plurality of handles may be provided for each aft-facing seat, with one at an outboard side and another at an inboard side.

  • Patent number: 4035795
Abstract: A control system for a microwave oven includes a programmable digital logic control circuit which enables a user to program information into the digital logic control circuit. The digital logic control circuit of the present invention allows a user to program information into the control, relating to the amount of time the magnetron tube is to be energized. The control also allows the user to select the power level or duty factor at which the magnetron is energized from three different levels, thus providing a choice to the user as to whether the magnetron is to be operated in a defrost mode, a slow cook mode or a cook mode. The control of the present invention allows the oven to be operated in a single stage manner whereby the microwave oven is operated in the defrost, slow cook or cook modes for the amount of time programmed into the control by the user.

  • Patent number: 4002357
Abstract: A mechanical support for a short flexible hose section including a rigid L-shaped bracket having an upright leg to an upper end of which is rigidly secured a short rigid conduit section, which is disposed crosswise of said leg and to an inner end of which is secured one end of a flexible hose. The other lower horizontal leg of said bracket, which extends under said flexible hose, terminates in an upright bearing sleeve which rotatively receives a pivot pin. One end of a rigid arm, constituting the other section of said mechanical support, has one end secured to the upper end of said pivot pin for swingably supporting the arm relative to said bracket. A second short conduit section is rigidly secured to the other upturned end of said arm. The other end of said flexible hose is secured to the inner end of said last mentioned rigid conduit section.
