Abstract: A striking device including a head having a striking surface and a base mounted on an end of a handle for reciprocation in a linear motion. A rail structure is carried by the end of the handle. A rail receiving structure is carried by the base and receives the rail structure for reciprocating linear motion of the head between a forward position and a rearward position. A biasing structure biases the head into the forward position.

Abstract: A generally wedge-shaped mud box with a bottom wall has a mud outlet orifice through which mud will flow. An edge of the wedge-shaped box has a rectangularly shaped cover rotatably attached so as to be rotatable between an filling position and an operating position. A releasable biasing structure biases the cover toward a bottom wall of the box so as to force mud contained in the box toward the outlet orifice. A mud gun, including a hollow body with an inlet and an outlet orifice, is releasable attached to the outlet orifice of the box. When air under pressure is introduced into an air inlet of the gun, mud entering through the inlet orifice is forced out through the outlet orifice of the gun. A nozzle chassis is affixed to the gun with a plurality of different nozzles movably attached thereto, and each nozzle is movable between a stored and an aligned position so that only one nozzle of the plurality of nozzles is aligned with the outlet orifice of the gun at a time.

Abstract: The invention is directed to devices and methods for tissue dilators. The present invention encompasses a large variety of discrete structure, all intended to be applied externally to a subject for the purpose of dilating, or lifting, tissue adjacent to nasal passageways of the subject, including the vestibule and/or the valve of the subject so as to decrease resistance to inhalation and exhalation of said subject during respiration. The dilator comprises an alignment feature which is aligned with the uses nasal ridge during application to ensure a proper application.

Abstract: A medication timing device including a base carrying a circuit with a timing device, a switch for activating the timing device, a signal device activated by the timing device, and a battery coupled to the timing device and the signal device, and a top coupled to the base and covering the circuit. The top is moveable between a normal expanded position and a compressed position in which the switch is tripped. A fastening element fastens the base to a medication container.

Abstract: A mud pan for holding and mixing materials including a body fabricated of sheet material formed into a trough having a pair of upper edges and opposing ends. The body has an inner surface with straight sides and a curved bottom and an outer surface with a curved bottom. A coupling assembly removably couples opposing end caps to the ends of the body.

Abstract: A nasal dilator for dilating a first nasal passage and a second nasal passage of a nose, including an elastic element having a first end and a second end, the elastic element movable toward an expanded configuration wherein the length of the elastic element increases, and biases to a retracted configuration wherein the length of the elastic element is reduced. The nasal dilator further includes an adhesive carried proximate the first end for attaching the first end to an outer wall of the first nasal passage, and an adhesive carried proximate the second end for attaching the second end to an outer wall of the second nasal passage.

Abstract: The invention is directed to devices and methods for tissue dilators. In preferred embodiments, the dilators are particularly advantageous for use as a nasal dilator for dilating or supporting tissues overlying a nasal passage. The present invention relates to tissue dilator devices, methods of fabrication of tissue dilators, and methods of use for tissue dilators. In particular, the present invention relates to a wide variety of tissue dilators adapted to be coupled to dilate interior nasal passages of a subject including the vestibule and/or the valve thereof. The present invention is not intended to be limited to the illustrated or described embodiments as they are intended merely to assist the reader of this disclosure in understanding the subject matter of the invention described, taught, enabled and depicted herein.

A generally cylindrical chamber having a continuous side wall defining a void and having a first end coupled to the handle. A second end of the chamber forms a nozzle defining an opening in communication with the void. Only a single pleat formed in the side wall intermediate the first end of the chamber and the second end of the chamber, the single pleat encircling the void and movable between a compressed position and an expanded position.

Abstract: A method of treating human skin including providing an impermeable patch having an adhesive on a side and a human skin treating composition containing an oxidizable element. A layer of the composition is applied to a portion of human skin and covered with the impermeable patch, whereby oxidation of the layer of the composition is retarded. The skin is smoothed of wrinkles prior to placement of the patch.

Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing sheet material comprising a chassis, a drive assembly engagable for movement against a surface for driving sheet material through the chassis, a cutting element carried by the chassis for movement along a cutting path for severing the sheet material, and an extension of the chassis movable between forward and normal rearward positions and having a distal end, wherein the sheet material may be severed to form a free end to terminate adjacent a point corresponding with the distal end of the extension in the forward position.

Abstract: A mud box includes a bottom surface with an outlet orifice, sides, a cover pivotally attached along one edge, and a handle attached to the cover for positioning the box on a surface and applying extruding pressure to the cover for ejecting material through the orifice. A spring assembly is attached to the box and connected to apply extruding pressure to the cover. A primary lock is coupled to the spring assembly and the box, the primary lock has a locked position in which the spring assembly is prevented from applying extruding pressure to the cover and an unlocked position in which the spring assembly applies extruding pressure to the cover. The primary lock is activated by a wheel assembly which moves it into the locked position when the box and wheel assembly are disengaged from a surface and which moves it into the unlocked position when the wheel assembly and box are engaged with a surface.
