  • Patent number: 9739944
Abstract: A pluggable transceiver is provided that may receive an electrical signal from a host device, convert the optical signal into an optical signal, and transmit the converted optical signal to one or more external cables. In one aspect, a pluggable transceiver may include a first transceiver connector for connecting to a host device, an optical module for converting an electrical signal to an optical signal and vice versa, and a second transceiver connector for transmitting the optical signal to external cables or devices.

  • Patent number: 8942232
Abstract: A multi-stage switching fabric provides a first tier and a second tier. The first tier may include a first plurality of switches, and the second tier may include a second plurality of switches, wherein each of the switches in the first tier are coupled to the switches in the second tier. Each of the switches in the first and second tiers may include a plurality of switching chips, wherein a given switching chip in a given switch is coupled to each other switching chip in the given switch. The fabric may further include a third tier comprising one or more core switches, wherein each switch in the second tier is coupled to at least one of the core switches.

  • Patent number: 7200692
Abstract: A generic, parallel, n-bit wide data path communication bus allows a number of major slave devices (such as DSPs, Microprocessors, ASICs, FPGAs, etc) to be used with PVDMs and other devices. A higher level protocol allows a DMA engine to interface multiple Master devices directly with multiple slave modules through the DMA engine.
