  • Publication number: 20250139161
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for cutting down a user's larger input video into an edited video comprising the most important video segments and applying corresponding video effects. Some embodiments of the present invention are directed to adding captioning video effects to the trimmed video (e.g., applying face-aware and non-face-aware captioning to emphasize extracted video segment headings, important sentences, quotes, words of interest, extracted lists, etc.). For example, a prompt is provided to a generative language model to identify portions of a transcript (e.g., extracted scene summaries, important sentences, lists of items discussed in the video, etc.) to apply to corresponding video segments as captions depending on the type of caption (e.g., an extracted heading may be captioned at the start of a corresponding video segment, important sentences and/or extracted list items may be captioned when they are spoken).

  • Publication number: 20250140292
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for cutting down a user's larger input video into an edited video comprising the most important video segments and applying corresponding video effects. Some embodiments of the present invention are directed to adding face-aware scale magnification to the trimmed video (e.g., applying scale magnification to simulate a camera zoom effect that hides shot cuts with respect to the subject's face). For example, as the trimmed video transitions from one video segment to the next video segment, a scale magnification may be applied that zooms in on a detected face at a boundary between the video segments to smooth the transition between video segments.

  • Patent number: 12285177
Abstract: A method and device for reducing the damaging effects of a blast or concussive event includes applying pressure to at least one jugular vein to reduce the egress of blood from the cranial cavity during the incidence of the concussive event. Reducing blood out flow from the cranial cavity increases intracranial pressure of the cerebrospinal fluid to reduce the risk of traumatic brain injury and injuries to the spinal column. Reducing blood out flow further increases the intracranial pressure, and thereby increases the pressure of the cochlear fluid, the vitreous humor and the cerebrospinal fluid to thereby reduce the risk of injury to the inner ear, internal structure of the eye and of the spinal column. In addition, increasing intracranial pressure reduces the likelihood of brain injury and any associated loss of olfactory function.

  • Publication number: 20250124212
Abstract: In implementation of techniques for vector font generation based on cascaded diffusion, a computing device implements a glyph generation system to receive a sample glyph in a target font and a target glyph identifier. The glyph generation system generates a rasterized glyph in the target font using a raster diffusion model based on the sample glyph and the target glyph identifier, the rasterized glyph having a first level of resolution. The glyph generation system then generates a vector glyph using a vector diffusion model by vectorizing the rasterized glyph, the vector glyph having a second level of resolution different than the first level of resolution. The glyph generation system then displays the vector glyph in a user interface.

  • Patent number: 12243135
Abstract: Techniques for vector object blending are described to generate a transformed vector object based on a first vector object and a second vector object. A transformation module, for instance, receives a first vector object that includes a plurality of first paths and a second vector object that includes a plurality of second paths. The transformation module computes morphing costs based on a correspondence within candidate path pairs that include one of the first paths and one of the second paths. Based on the morphing costs, the transformation module generates a low-cost mapping of paths between the first paths and the second paths. To generate the transformed vector object, the transformation module adjusts one or more properties of at least one of the first paths based on the mapping, such as geometry, appearance, and z-order.

  • Patent number: 12220870
Abstract: A light polymerizable composition for use in the additive manufacturing of medical devices may include a first photo-initiator and a second photo-initiator. The first photo-initiator activates to initiate curing of the composition when exposed to light of a first wavelength in an additive manufacturing device and the second photo-initiator limits the transmission of the light of the first wavelength that activates the first photo-initiator in the additive manufacturing device. The second photo-initiator is activated to further cure the composition when exposed to a light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength by activating the second photo-initiator to produce free radicals at a higher rate when exposed to the light of the second wavelength than when exposed to the light of the first wavelength.
