  • Patent number: 9346076
Abstract: A fine-line applicator device creates an air-tight seal on a container of a substance, while preventing clogging in an applicator tip. The device includes a first cap, a nozzle protruding from the cap, a second cap engaging the nozzle, a hollow-bore needle protruding from the second cap, an end cap engaging the second cap, and an elongated member protruding from the end cap, such that the elongated member can be inserted into the hollow-bore needle. When the device is in a closed position, the elongated member occupies the interior chamber of the hollow-bore needle while the end cap engages the second cap to form a substantially air-tight seal, and when the end cap is removed from the second cap, the elongated member vacates the interior chamber of the hollow-bore needle to allow flow of a substance from the container through the needle.

  • Publication number: 20070160437
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a helical drill configuration that allows substantially flat bottomed holes to be machined. At the cutting end of the body member, there are at least two cutting edges that are symmetrically oriented on opposing sides of the rotational axis of the drill. In an embodiment of the invention, first and second cutting edge portions form a continuous surface which provides strength and tool stability. The height of the second portions of each of the cutting edges remains relatively consistent along the horizontal for formation of a generally flat bottom hole. In the embodiment, a center point is defined by two sloped peak surfaces. A central straight chisel edge is formed by the intersection of the two sloped peak surfaces. The first cutting edge section extends from the chisel edge to the second cutting edge section. The first cutting edge section for both cutting edges is formed by symmetrically thinning the two peak surface.

  • Publication number: 20060231248
Abstract: A wellhead housing has a bore with a support shoulder, a ramp surface extending upward and outward from the support shoulder, and a recess extending upward from the ramp. A split, resilient load ring is carried in an initial position in the recess. A retractable and axially movable latch ring is carried in the recess above the load ring. A casing hanger has a profile that engages the latch ring as the casing hanger moves downwardly in the bore, causing the latch ring to move downward and pushing the load ring to the set position.

  • Publication number: 20060103103
Abstract: A low part count, light weight, low-rise air leaf suspension system is provided. One end of the leaf spring has a formed eye pivotally mounted by a pin to a lightweight bracket mounted to the vehicle frame. The leaf spring is tapered toward the ends to reduce weight. Light weight clamping blocks attach an axle to a central portion of the leaf spring. The other end of the leaf spring is curved down and laterally inward so that the end of the leaf spring is positioned directly underneath the vehicle frame and the air spring may be connected directly between the leaf spring and frame.
