  • Patent number: 10308794
Abstract: Described herein are polymer compositions useful as a semiconductive layer suitable for cables. The polymer compositions include (a) a heterophasic copolymer of propylene, (b) a polar copolymer having a polar comonomer having polar groups, (c) a solid conductive filler, and optionally (d) a polyolefin functionalised with a mono- or polycarboxylic acid compound or a derivative of a mono- or polycarboxylic acid compound, wherein said compostion is not crosslinked by the addition of a crosslinking agent. Also described herein is a process for producing the polymer compositions as well as the use of the compositions thereof.

  • Patent number: 9464664
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polypropylene which has—a melt flow rate MFR(230° C., 2.16 kg) of at least 13 g/10 min,—an amount of xylene solubles XS of 6.0 wt % or less, and—a crystalline fraction, wherein at least 10% of the crystalline fraction melts the temperature range of from 160 to 170° C., as determined by the stepwise isothermal segregation technique (SIST).

  • Patent number: 8722805
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition showing a high melt flow rate and high melt strength while maintaining high impact strength. The composition of the present invention is obtainable by using a low molecular weight linear isotactic polypropylene as melt flow enhancer for a high molecular weight polypropylene having a high melt strength and impact strength. The inventive composition could be used for the production of different articles.
