Publication number: 20240280031Abstract: A gas (or steam) turbine is disclosed including: a rotor with at least one array of rotor blades, a stator with a casing and a shroud ring; the shroud ring extends around the array of blades rotor and the casing extends around the shroud ring. The shroud ring has radial size independent from temperature thanks to its material, and is movably coupled with the casing so to allow the casing of the stator to thermally expand and contract during operation of the turbine while maintaining the shroud ring radial size. Also the rotor thermally expands and contracts during operation of the turbine, and, at working temperature, tip regions of the rotor blades are in close proximity to an inner region of the shroud ring so that clearance is small or even zero at working condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2024Publication date: August 22, 2024Inventors: Antonio Asti, Leonardo Tognarelli, Simone Marchetti, David Gentile, Enrico Federighi

Patent number: 11958713Abstract: A sheet processing device has a moveable beam (36) that moves in the vertical direction, a gripper bar (30) for gripping a sheet that travels through the sheet processing device (10), and a gripper bar locking device (40) that can lock the gripper bar (30) in a precise position. The gripper bar locking device (40) has a locking lever (68) that is pivoting between a rest position and a locking position. The locking lever (68) is connected to a vertical linear guide coupled with the moveable beam (36) resulting in a precise, compact and simple system to lock the gripper bar.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: BOBST MEX SAInventors: David Gentil, Arnaud Jonet

Patent number: 11904596Abstract: A hot foil stamping press has a pressing system for pressing a foil onto a sheet, a blow unit which is positioned at a distance to the pressing system for directing a stream of gas between the sheet and the foil. The stream of gas to detaches the foil from the sheet after each stamping cycle. A gripper bar is arranged between the blow unit and the pressing system for gripping the sheet. A flow guiding element is arranged between the blow unit and the pressing system, preferably on the gripper bar, for directing the gas from the blow unit between the sheet and the foil. Said element avoids the losses in the stream of gas due to the aperture that exist between the grippers in a typical gripper bar.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2020Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: BOBST MEX SAInventor: David Gentil

Patent number: 7711660Abstract: In a system and method for processing data, a user interface enables a user to enter mapping data to enable incoming data to be converted to a common data format. A database stores the mapping data and data quality rules, and a receiver receives data from a data source. The processor applies the data quality rules to the common format data to identify any potential errors in the common format data and notifies the user of any potential errors found in the common format data. The data rules may include data structure rules and/or data trending requirements based upon data trends or norms. The data source may be an employer, insurance company or other entity. The data may include insurance claim data, medical data and/or prescription data and/or eligibility and/or occupational and non-occupational data.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2007Date of Patent: May 4, 2010Assignee: Ingenix, Inc.Inventors: David Gentile, John Michael Brillante, Jennifer Ann Wipprecht, Paul Michael Lisella
