Abstract: A Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) secure data management system includes a BIOS that is configured to perform a boot process. At least one memory system is configured to provide a System Management (SM) memory location that is only accessible by the BIOS. A trusted platform module (TPM) includes at least one register and is configured to store sealed first secure data. The TPM is configured to use at least one first value in the at least one register that depends on the boot process to unseal the sealed first secure data to provide unsealed first secure data, and provide that unsealed first secure data to the BIOS for storage in the SM memory location. The BIOS is configured to retrieve the unsealed first secure data from the SM memory location and use the unsealed first secure data to perform a security function.

Abstract: An automatic injection syringe assembly having an integrated and fillable medicine container that includes a medicine container within a housing and a conduit assembly. The medicine container includes a piston having an aperture at a distal end thereof for the passage of fluid therethrough. The conduit assembly includes a conduit member that is releasably connected to the housing and has an open proximal end and an open distal end. The open distal end of the conduit member is releasably engaged with the piston and in fluid communication with the piston aperture. The open proximal end and the open distal end of the conduit member are m fluid communication via a conduit within the conduit member.

Abstract: A method for supporting pre-boot log in is described herein. The method includes receiving a password, via an operating system of the computer system, selected by a user for use in a pre-boot log in. The method includes determining whether the password can be entered by the user prior to completion of booting of the computer system. If the password cannot be entered by the user prior to completion of the booting, the method includes signaling that the password is unacceptable.

Abstract: A needle-protection device (2) for a syringe (1) includes a protector support (120) having at least one recess (126A) that extends therethrough and at least one rib (170) that extends across at least a portion of the recess. The rib is generally centrally positioned within the recess. A needle protector (22) has an inner diameter that is at least slightly greater than an outer diameter of the protector support, such that at least a portion of the protector support can be inserted within at least a portion of the needle protector. At least one hook (56) extends radially inwardly from the needle protector. The needle protector is rotatable with respect to the protector support such that the at least one hook snaps over the at least one rib and locks the rotational position of the protector support with respect to the needle protector.

The reclaim operation is implemented by sliding, one section at a time, the data in a first direction along the plurality of sections and by sliding, one section at a time, the variable records, excluding the expired variable record, in a second direction along the plurality of sections, to thereby remove the expired variable record.
