Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for detecting and preventing bypass fraud in telecommunication networks, primarily for detecting and preventing SIM box fraud in telecommunication networks. The methods include generating one or more test calls from a remote agent to a local agent where the remote agent can be a roaming agent or a remote dialer. The local agent is a subscriber number. The methods further include facilitating call forwarding of the test calls from the local agent to a local number. The methods include identifying the presence of bypass fraud by analyzing caller identification information of the test call received on the local number. Finally, the methods include preventing future use of a detected SIM box.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to methods, systems and computer products that guarantee the availability of basic services to subscribers during the failure of a Proxy-Profile Gateway. An independent module equipped with monitoring probes for tracking the actual location of the end-customer, an interface for controlling the Gateway availability, and an active SS7 signaling interface are also provided, in order to initiate the recovery procedures, along with a database for storing the relevant information necessary to apply the restoration procedures.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for facilitating roaming management of a host network. The method includes obtaining at a gateway associated with the host network, signaling messages of one or more roamers. The roamers are subscribers of either the host network or one or more non-host networks. The method further includes determining by the gateway, the host network's roaming arrangement with the non-host networks, based on analysis of one or more signaling messages from the obtained signaling messages.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for facilitating exchange of roaming information between a first gateway and either a Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE) agent or second gateway in real time. The method includes obtaining, by a first gateway associated with the VPMN, one or more event parameters in real time from mobile communication of the VPMN's inbound roamer coming from the HPMN. The method further includes generating the roaming information at the first gateway in real time, using one or more obtained event parameters such that the generated roaming information is comprehendible to either an NRTRDE agent associated with the VPMN or a third party vendor, or a second gateway associated with the HPMN. The method further includes providing the roaming information by the first gateway to either the NRTRDE agent or the second gateway in real time.

Abstract: A roaming home location server is arranged to receive signalling data communicated between a home location server of a first home mobile radio network and a visitor location server of a second visited mobile network. The signalling data is associated with informing the home location server of the location of a mobile user equipment which has roamed from the first home mobile radio network to the second visited mobile network. The signalling data received by the roaming home location server from the visitor location server of the second visited mobile network includes a request to register the roaming mobile user equipment with the visitor location server of the first visited mobile network.
