  • Publication number: 20070112845
Abstract: A method of constructing an entity profile having private and public portions commences with the assignment of a confidence level to content within an electronic document. The electronic document may be associated with a first entity. The content may be descriptive of the first entity. If the confidence level assigned to the content is less than a predetermined threshold, the content is automatically rejected for inclusion within the entity profile. If the confidence level assigned to the content exceeds the predetermined threshold, the content is included within the private portion of the entity profile. Thereafter, the content can be automatically presented to the first entity for authorization, by the first entity, for inclusion of the content within the public portion of the profile. The public portion of the entity profile may be freely accessible by other entities, whereas the private portion may have access restrictions.

    Applicant: Tacit Knowledge Systems, Inc.
    Inventors: David Gilmour, Eric Wang
  • Patent number: 7203725
Abstract: A method of querying a user profile commences with a first access to a public portion of a knowledge profile for each of a plurality of potential targets of the electronic document, the public portion of each knowledge profile including public knowledge terms indicative of a knowledge base of a potential target of the electronic document. The first access is responsive to a first query received from an originator. A first matching operation is performed between a document term within the electronic document and public knowledge terms within the public portion of each knowledge profile to identify a first set of targets for which a match exists between the document term and at least one public knowledge term. The first set of targets is published to the originator.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 10, 2007
    Assignee: Tacit Software, Inc.
Inventors: David Gilmour, Richard Sanders, Jr., Hernan Epelman-Wang, Eric Wang
  • Publication number: 20070078803
Abstract: A user initiated query is requested, from a searchcasting server, by a plurality of target computers. At least one of the target computers is selected to prompt its user to indicate permission or denial of permission to send a response to the query if the target computer determines that a match of the query satisfies a predetermined match level.

  • Publication number: 20060153932
Abstract: This disclosure relates to the treatment of subjects at risk for chronic kidney disease (CKD), having stage one to five CKD, having hyperphosphataemia, susceptible to or suffering from soft tissue calcification associated with CKD, or susceptible to or suffering from hyperparathyroidism, by orally administering a pharmaceutical composition containing a therapeutically effective amount of lanthanum hydroxycarbonate.

  • Publication number: 20050004874
Abstract: A method of constructing an entity profile, having private and public portions with different access restrictions, commences with the assignment of a confidence level to content within an electronic document.

  • Patent number: 5224884
Abstract: A low voltage drop, high current electrical connector which can be releasably mated with associated contacts is disclosed. The connector makes use of elongate contact arms cantilevered in a housing. Each contact arm is made up of at least two beams one of which has relatively high electrical conductivity but relatively poor mechanical spring characteristics. The other has relatively low electrical conductivity but relatively good mechanical spring characteristics. In this way the mechanical and electrical characteristics such as contact force and conductivity may be controlled, balanced and optimized. As one possibility there could be a single spring steel beam backing a stack of sheets of high conductivity copper. As another possibility, there could be sheets of high conductivity copper alternating in a stack with sheets of copper spring which is about half as conductive as pure copper. Instead of a cantilevered spring a coil spring located at the contact surface could be used.
